The hook material is not Velcro but it is extremely high quality and will provide an excellent and convenient means of fixing sanding sheets to your device. Our hook pads are designed to fit a wide range of detail sanders and you will need to cut the pad to the same shape as your original pad. Simply follow the photos on this listing and within a few minutes your detail sander will be better than new!! We recommend cutting the outside profile using sharp scissors and the vent holes using a sharp Stanley knife, craft knife or scalpel. Please use extreme caution when using knives and cutting tools. The 3mm foam backing on our hook pads provides a degree of shock absorption and reduces vibration, resulting in added comfort for those long sanding jobs. Review: They are easy to fit but you do have to cut and punch out thr required dust holes to suit your sander but 3times cheaper than a new boush base plate for my sander so now I have got a spare ready to go when needed.Good value and would bye again.

Title: Replacement hook and eye pads
Review: These were brought to replace pad for hook and eye sanding pads on a finishing sander.They are self adhesive and plain with no holes for the dust to escape,once these have been cut in they stick onto the sanders pad OK, hopefully will last longer that the original .Can’t comment on longevity yet

Review: saved me buying a new sander easy to fit, but if there are dust extractor holes in the sanding plate you will have to cut them in the replacement plate (not hard with a sharp craft knife).
