Review: A nice little set of brass washers in a compact carry box. Box is ok, not sure it would endure much abuse in a site bag, but in a toolbox, it should be fine. Handy that each size is bagged; worth keeping like that so when you spill the box, as is mostly the case with nice selection boxes, the cleanup will be much easier.We use brass fixings extensively for earth connections on electrical systems, but they can really be used wherever in the home. A fair amount of each and all the popular sizes. £13 seemed a few quid too much, but overall, if you need a selection of brass washers to carry about, this is a good set.

Title: Quality washers
Review: There’s really not much to say about these. Manufacturing quality is good enough for me and the box of 620 should last me a decent time.I would imagine tolerances are not as precise as those supplied for space flight but I don’t intend going to space anytime soon.A price of £9.79 or about 1.5 pence per washer seems good value to me, would order again.

Title: Essential for new home owners
Review: Having recently moved into a new house, it never ceases to amaze me what I need next from the local DIY shop. Washers was never on my list. But then when fitting an IKEA storage unit, I could I needed washers to help secure with securing a unit to the wall. These washers come in all shapes and sizes making them fit for just about any task around the house. And for the money you get a good range of products, all of which are excellent quality.

Title: Invaluable in the Garage or Workshop and Good Value
Review: These assorted stainless steel washers arrived in their own plastic storage box. Inside, each size is packed in its own zip lock bag to stop them getting jumbled up in transit.There’s a good selection of sizes but some of the smaller ones may not be of too much use for a lot of people. I tinker a lot with electronic devices so I’m glad to have the smaller ones.I do a lot of DIY and do all my own work on our cars and my classic motorbike so I’m often looking for a washer of the correct size. The local trade warehouse only sells washers in packs of 100 in one size so having this assortment and the correct size to hand when you’re doing a job is invaluable.A pack of 100 M8 x 1.6mm washers is £3.99 at the local trade warehouse so at £9.79 for 620 washers these are good value. Because of this and the convenience of having the right size washer to hand whilst doing a job I’m giving them 5 stars.

Title: Decent brass washers but the finish is not good…see photos
Review: I do like the container that these come in, the lid being positively locked into place and the size of each washer being clearly marked.Each category of washer are contained in their own sealed bags, should help to delay oxidisation.They are non magnetic, suggesting that they are brass.None of the washers have been malformed and all are the size they are expected to be.But, this one being important for my use….(see photos)The finish on these washers is not good. For some types of my use the washer face will be largely displayed and it is not a matter of them being cleaned, the pitting and pour quality, naturally unlacquered, is not good at all.I do not think that the pitting shown is due to oxidisation, more of how they were made.If the finish and appearance of the washers is not too important then you could add a star to the review. Otherwise the three star rating is fair.The other star I dropped due to the over all cost, even accepting the overall cost of brass being more costly than steel.Overall, for my use, these are merely adequate for my main use. Decent enough to keep but needing to be sorted for the best side and best ones to use for certain purposes.I do cautiously recommend them, but with the caveats noted above.I hope that this has been helpful.
