The 9032/2 is equipped with adjustable sanding arm, capable of pivoting up to 100 degrees for access to hard to reach and confined areas and easily adjustable belt tracking by turning a knob. The 9032/2 is suitable for use on both wood and steel materials and is the ideal Sander for wood working, artistic use, door hangers, handymen and more.

The 9032/2 240V Filing Sander has a powerful 500 watt motor, with variable speed control to match the speed to the application and constant speed control to apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load, to deliver up to 1,700 metres per minute.

The 9032/2 Filing Sander enables filing and sanding in awkward and confined areas, replacing the need to manual work. Various sanding arms and sanding belt widths, 6mm, 9mm and 13mm are available (not included) to assure a wider range of sanding and filing applications.

Title: Gets into the places similar tools can’t manage affectively.
Review: Had my doubt about this. Firstly hadn’t heard of it, and was cautious about it achieving a genuine result. Having watched a few video’s regarding it’s abilities, I began to have some trust in it. It was also becoming obvious, this was one of the better one’s
So far I’m very pleased with it’s results, and it certainly has no issues, doing what I require.
I’m involved in metal and wood. Dealing with square metal tubing, there’s an inner ridge which remains, from where it’s welded together. Although that ridge. is very small, approx. 1/2mm, x 1/2mm it’s still a ridge, and stops other steel from sliding inside. This takes that ridge out with ease. It only goes inside a few inches, but that’s all I require.
So yes, so far, I’m very impressed with what it’s capable of, and it has helped solve, a lot of issues when working.
One side note. It doesn’t require much pressure, for delicate work, as it’s capable of going through material, which is what it’s designed for.
As I commented in the heading, it’s designed for difficult to reach places, with other similar tools.

its a bit expensive, but the aged old saying of buy cheap buy twice goes along way when buying tools….

Review: I’ve used one of these at work so I’m well aware of it’s capability. I was skeptical before I’d used it as I felt that you’d have more control with a hand file. I soon changed my mind though. Give it a go!!

Review: Just bought this 240v version but when I opened the box the plug was a oversized 3 pin round affair so Iâ€™m guessing was the 110v version. Iâ€™d like to re order but Iâ€™m a bit wary the same thing will happen again.

Review: A lot smaller than I expected. Have wanted one of these for years. Saw this at $200 and couldnâ€™t pass it up. I would rather have a battery powered one but didnâ€™t want to spend the big bucks.
Put the sandpaper on and turned it in. Very powerful and easy to use. Iâ€™m not a door installer and doubt I will use it for sanding a deadlock on a jamb. Iâ€™m a woodcarver/woodworker and knew that this would be useful. I love Makita products and own a few. This is really bare bones. The user manual is in Japanese and the tool is made in Japan. Many of theirs are made in China so I was thrill to see one actually made in Japan. Something I wouldnâ€™t have said 50 years ago. The only complaint I have that the user manual isnâ€™t in English. I printed out the user manual but would have rather had an English one delivered. I keep all my user manualâ€™s in a filing cabinet.
The tools is self explanatory and doesnâ€™t require a user manual. If you are ordering this you probably already have experience with these type of tools but I still would have like an English translation. I will probably build a wooden case for this and paint it Makita Blue to match my other tools.
It is a tool I wish I had a long time ago. At 71, though, Iâ€™m still happy to have bought it. Iâ€™m using it for everything Iâ€™m making, with wood.

Review: Die Makita lÃ¤uft herrlich rund und vibrationsarm und ist sehr leistungsstark. Sie liegt gut in der Hand. SchleifbÃ¤nder lassen sich leicht aufspannen und ausrichten. Ich habe noch eine zweite Bandfeile eines anderen Anbieters, die nur ein Drittel der Makita gekostet hat. Diese Zweite wirkt im Vergleich dann auch regelrecht klapprig, deutlich schlechter verarbeitet und ist wahrscheinlich nicht so langlebig.Die Makita Bandfeile ist von ersten Eindruck her ein GerÃ¤t, mit dem man gerne arbeitet und das langlebig wirkt. Den Arm kann man auch gegen einen breiteren austauschen. Man ist also flexibler als bei den gÃ¼nstigeren Mitbewerbern.
