Review: Insomma… non si sa bene ciò che si compra,Sicuramente sono lettori ottici vecchi, forse pure di recupero, riconfezionati all’interno di custodie con controller USB sata.Grazioso il led cangiante (che però, non è indicatore d’attività – e comunque c’è solo qullo in fronte del dvd)Viene anche allegato un cavo mini usb per fornire alimentazione supplettiva.Quello nativo collegato al controller nel case, è annidato sotto il case stesso: è una soluzione adottata da anni e da tutti i produttori di lettori esterni, ma comoda.Utile la doppia spina USB A e COddio una volta collegato il suo dovere lo fa, ma al contrario di quanto indicato dal manualetto allegato, vien riconosciuto il Lite-ON DS8A8S, un lettore dvd ram che masterizza pure i dvd in 8x e 6x (RW), quindi compri qualcosa la cui descrizione è puramente indicativa, ma magari ti va bene….L’hub usb integrato con lettore di memorie funziona bene: la porta usb 3.0 trasferisce effettivamente intorno ai 5Gbps collegata alla porta del mio pc 3.0 anch’essa.Vabbè, io l’ho provato solo in lettura e va decentemente: CdBurnerXp lo riconosce, anche perché all’epoca, credo ormai almeno 10 anni fa, appunto, era un buon masterizzatore.Oggigiorno i pc, specialmente i portatili sono privi di unità ottiche(ODD – OpticalDiscDrive), però alla fine qualcosa su supporto ottico, appunto, lo si ha sempre da dover legge, per cui uno di scorta è opportuno averlo.La masterizzazione, considerando ormai la limitata capacità d’archiviazione, è praticamente abbandonata nel segmento home e office
