Title: Comfortable and long lasting
Review: Our household is a newcomer to VR Gaming. It’s a real revelation.Sadly, the one thing that’s lacking in the current batch of VR headsets is any semblance of a long battery life. Our MEta Quest 3 has an hour of battery before it begins to struggle, and up to two hours of medium use before it needs a refil. It doesn’t take long to re-up, but it does bring you out of an immersive experience for constant pauses for metaphorical breath.This headset / battery pack does a fine job of prolonguing the battery life. What was one or two hours now feels like three or four. And the added comfort is a great upgrade, with the weight being distributed evenly instead of front-loaded, and the padding being forgiving and comfortable.My small gripe is the price, but even at the high point there’s no question that this is a quality piece of kit. It’s a little fiddly to install, but it offers a significant quality of life improvement. If you can afford this, it’s great.Recommended.

Title: Way more stable
Review: Have some experience with Kiwi products on previous VR sets I’ve had, but I got this to go with my recent purchase of a Quest 3. Once again this company has proven it’s worth and not disappointed.The main advantage this strap provides over the standard one is that it distributes the weight of the device around you head more and keeps things more stable. For example, I feel like the goggles are way more secure if I was to turn my head suddenly or if I looked straight down. If I were to do these motions with the strap provided with the device then often I feel like it shifts around or even is about to fall off, this one stops that from hapenning. The second big plus is the additional battery you can attach to the side. Not only does this improve the battery life of your goggles massively, it is also a huge upgrade over the older models I’ve had from Kiwi design. Installing it is super easy too. All you have to do is unfasten the stand strap from the goggles and then feed this one into the same space. Only takes about 3 minutes to do this and attach the battery.Honestly the only reason this is not a full 5 stars is that the price is really high for this. Most of it is for the battery, which does really improve the experieence since you don’t have to worry about running out of charge, but it’s still costly for esentially a more comfortable strap.This isn’t enough for me to dissuade me from recommending this to anyone looking into buying a Quest 3 or 3s though. It’s such a huge improvement over the one it comes with that I’d even say it’s a hard requirement if you really want to experience your VR set to the full.

Review: Great improvement on the MetaStrapI have now used it for a while and I do think is fantasticThe shift to a halo-style head-strap makes a big difference because as the weight is distributed more evenly it eliminates that front-heavy feeling. I get no much pressure on the front of the faceThe padding is thicker and more comfortable than the stock strap, especially on the back of the head.The dial at the back makes adjustments quick and easy, even mid-game.The built-in battery adds a noticeable boost to playtime. I got pretty much double my usual playtime, which is fantastic for longer gaming sessions.The USB-C charging port is easy to access and the battery charges relatively quickly.A Few Minor problems like It adds some bulk to the headset, which might be a concern for some.It’s a bit pricey, but worth it for the comfort and extended playtime.The KIWI design H4 Boost Battery Halo Strap is a considerable upgrade for Quest 3 because of improved comfort and battery life.

Title: You get what you pay for
Review: In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Most importantly, it’s very comfortable. The Halo design is very good at keeping it stable and the weight distribution even, and the additional batteries in there help distribute that weight better across the front and back of the head.+ Obviously, the built-in battery helps to extend playtime and it’s pretty fast to charge as well.+ It feels like a premium strap. It’s really well made. But it should be at this price.Things I didn’t like:- There’s no getting away from the fact that the price is very high. It was £96 at the time of reviewing, which is a very high price for a replacement strap. It’s currently slightly cheaper, on sale for £76 in the run-up to Black Friday. There’s no doubting that it’s very good quality though, so I guess you get what you pay for.Do I recommend it?Yes. I have tried cheaper straps which feel almost as comfortable as this one, which don’t have additional batteries and are available at a lower price. However, I think you get what you pay for and this is a more expensive strap, but is noticeably more premium and very comfortable.

Review: Ich nutze schon seit paar Wochen die H4 Boost und ich bin echt begeistert 🤩. Hab schon einige Straps getestet, aber keins hat mir so richtig gefallen oder war nicht bequem oder hat keinen guten Akkulaufzeit bis sich die H4 boost geholt habe. Es ist so bequem. Dadurch dass die Quest nicht auf das Gesicht liegt spürt man das auf Gesicht gar nicht und die Batterie ist auch ziemlich gut. Mit einer 45 W Ladegerät kann man schnell die Quest inklusive H4 boost Akku aufladen. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.
