Title: overall good product
Review: this hair straightener works well, it heats up quick and the sides don’t burn as badly as the ones i have previously used. The lock function helps with storage so it doesn’t pop open when placed down.

Title: Decent
Review: These straighteners are actually pretty decent. To start with, they are cordless which is so handy. The unit itself feels good quality and well made. The display feature is really handy and i found these quite quick to heat up. Battery life is surprising good which i didn’t expect.I think these are a great set of straighteners at a really reasonable price.

Title: Nice…
Review: This is a nice cordless straightener. It has a good weight to it and feels solid and well made. It’s not too large or too heavy. Blades are 95mm.Very easy to use with only two buttons and a digital temp and charge level display. Adjustable from 160 to 210 deg C. You can swap between C and F by holding both buttons, which is a nice touch. Even on 210, the casing remained cool enough to touch, just.Fairly quick to heat up, seemed like 90 secs or so. Leaving it running, the battery seems to be holding up well.My reason for three stars is one of safety… when you lock the blades together for more compact transportation, it does not lock out the ON button. In fact, simply moving these from my back to front room while i was writing this review… suddenly i found they were on and getting hot. No idea how that happened but it was concerning. This could be a fire hazard if you were not extremely careful… a shame because in every other regard, they seem good.

Title: Sturdy and Good Design
Review: The straighteners were good and worked well for what I needed them for which was a 4 day stay at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix and it was in neither in a posh hotel or glamping.They charged up fully in a couple of hours prior to setting off and lasted for a 4 day camping trip. They were only used for about 5 -10 minutes per day on thin, fine hair.If you have thick hair they would most likely need charging daily and run out of charge within 30-45 minutes.There is an option of heat settings, however I found that even on fine hair you needed to use the hottest setting to straighten hair and for it to stay straight.They came with a comb, hair clips and charging cable, certainly suitable for travelling or short camping trips where electric is not accessible.If these straighteners were coupled with a good battery bank with a capacity of 30000 mAh to charge them from then these would do a full week of camping with ease.Verdict: A good product for camping or where electricity is in short supply.

Title: Surprisingly liberating!
Review: My wife’s thoughts in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ A great option for straigtening when away from home. Really portable and useful.+ Even at home, the fact you can use them away from the wall is extremely liberating.+ Performance is fine. Not as good as plug in straighteners it has to be said, but for me these fulfil a different need.+ The price (about £65 after vouchers applied) is very good for what you get.Things I didn’t like:- Battery life is fine but not amazing and I have to charge them pretty much after every use. But I do use them for about 15 minutes at a time.Do I recommend it?Yes. Fulfils a different use and I’m happy to have these in addition to my plug in ghds.

Title: Good Price & Build Quality for a Cordless Straightener
Review: I have had a corded GHD hair straightener for a long while, and it works great, but since I don’t have, and I don’t think you’re allowed to have, a 13 amp power socket in a bathroom in the UK, I decided to give this cordless straightener a go.The quality of the straightener seems good to me. The build quality is solid with no creaking or loose parts, and I like the digital display to show the temperature and being able to change it easily (my corded one doesn’t have that). Charging and runtimes have been good. Since I have short hair I only need to use it for short periods of time each day, but for my use case, it lasts a long while on a charge. I haven’t needed to charge it incessantly, and with USB C it’s easy to charge it with all sorts of chargers.I use it on my fringe and the side of the head, it works well for straightening, like for a short bob cut. But because my hair is quite short I haven’t tried it out as a curler. It’s a handy bonus that it’s easier to use at work if I need to and on holiday, especially since I usually have a USB charger/cable of some description handy if I need it.It has not burnt my hair, it works well, and it’s easy to use, so I think it’s good value and it has already been extremely useful on many days per week.My only gripe is the sealed-in battery. I try not to use a high-wattage charger since charging the battery too fast is bound to heat up the battery and wear it out faster. Even so, sealed-in batteries in expensive products is ridiculous, even in cheaper devices it’s entirely avoidable. Making the battery replaceable should be easy and would be a great improvement and extend its lifespan considerably. Of course, this is an issue with so many products now.Hopefully, the battery can be replaced without too much work when the time comes, and it might last a long while anyway.
