Title: Great for salon security
Review: Installed this indoor camera in the salon to monitor things after hours. The video quality is excellent, providing clear images even in low light. The pan and tilt feature offers a wider view, which is helpful for keeping an eye on different areas.The two-way audio is a nice addition, allowing communication if needed. The motion detection works well, sending alerts promptly when activity is detected. The one-button call feature is handy for quick check-ins.Setting it up was simple, and the app is user-friendly. It’s reassuring to be able to check on the salon from anywhere, providing peace of mind when away or traveling.

Title: Outstanding combination of software and hardware
Review: This camera has multiple uses. Suggested are a pet cam, a baby monitor, a home security device and a communication device; it can do all with ease. There are two principal components. First there is the base into which the USB C power lead, and possibly an SD card, are plugged. On the front there is a small video screen, and on the top there are two call buttons, one either side of the camera.The camera is inside a globe which can rotate 360 degrees and has a much more limited range in elevation. The picture from the camera is outstandingly clear and fine detailed. Even the night vision is clear.The instruction sheet is mercifully straightforward. It is probably better to download the app from Google Play or the App Store rather than use the QR code. The first time, I used the QR code and found myself half way through installing some financial app before realising it was asking me very inappropriate questions and stopped. App installation in Android is simple and the interface is clear and responsive.It is possible to monitor the camera from the app in the phone, although if the camera moves it will be a giveaway that someone is watching. Controlling camera direction is simply achieved in the app. Alternatively, one can interact with the camera by pressing either the on-screen voice or video call buttons. The phone’s camera will then be shown on the screen in the base.A reverse call is also possible. Press a call button on the base and, as long as you have notifications enabled, your phone will ask if you want to accept the call. There are two call buttons on the base. I don’t know why because both call my phone. There is no explanation in the instructions but I may have missed it online.It is possible to give other people access to your camera, and call it. Perhaps this will become an alternative communications net, either an intercom system domestically or chat between households. The possibilities are there.A cloud storage system for the camera’s video is available for a subscription on a 7 or 30 day rolling cycle. It is also possible to store video on an SD card inserted in the base. This is not as easy to use as the cloud storage and it has a particular disadvantage. An intruder may well walk off with your camera.My only criticism is that although the camera is provided with a USB lead and a charger, the lead is only a metre long. Think where you will site the camera and the location of the nearest mains outlet. I am fortunate that I already have a three metre USB lead!Two things on my wish list. The first would be a facility to read the camera feed independently and take it to a multi camera display. The second would be to add interactivity with Echo devices.I am delighted with this camera. It is a five star device.
