How to Install:

1. locate the groove place in your door
2. cut a groove: 20cm(L) x 2cm(W) x 1.7cm(T)
3. mount the door latch screws and fix it
4. locate the projecting dolt on the top or bottom frame
5. drill hole for projecting dolt: 1cm(Diameter) x 1.8cm(Height)
6. fix the striker plate with shorter screws

Title: Neat, good screw placement, easy to fit
Review: The photos of these aren’t great – they look like cheap pressed metal. In practice they are solid, neatly finished with no sharp edges and a good, positive locking action. They require a simple rectangular cutout from the door frame. They’re held in place with two screws. Both are well away from the bottom edge of the door, so shouldn’t be subjected to any weakening due to water ingress. If anything the screws are a little short – or they were for my doors. I’ve bought more for another door. Recommended.

Title: They seem to be good quality for their purpose
Review: Used them to lock a small boat table down and stop it moving under way.Care must be taken to use them in their intended direction of operation. They’re normally fitted on the edge of a door so the forces are sideways on the bolt. It’s obvious from the design of the bolt that it’s not designed to take a “front to back” force.
