Title: Beautifully made, works beautifully too.
Review: After reading the instructions I discovered you only engage
the Gyroscope in 1080p or less. The stills photos are really sharp,and can be further enhanced by editing on your PC. The photo I have submitted is a frame from a video shot in 4k. in a mild snow storm in the Highlands.I really rate this little camera, it is very well made, looks classy, and of course is a cousin to the more expensive Yi. But why pay more? This is a very good buy for the price.

Title: Great value but very average camera.
Review: For the money this thing is better than all its similarly priced competitors. As an action cam it’s quite average. The software appears to be hastily translated to English and lacks polish, it feels cheap although it’s perfectly useable.
The video quality is quite decent, low light performance is poor. I bought mine for scuba diving and this forces you to use 1080p as at 4K the camera gets too hot and fogs up the housing too much, in general it’s quite poor underwater, white balance can be a bit all over the place. The camera tends to overexpose and wash images out in bright sunlight. It has great battery life. The stability is present only at 1080/30 but seems ok, for the money it’s quite impressive but gimbals and more expensive cameras are better. Build quality is decent but doesn’t feel as rugged as others, it feels delicate out of the housing, I certainly wouldn’t be comfortable using it in rural locations without some kind of protection.
If you want an action cam to play around with but you don’t want to spend loads you can do a lot worse than this one. Manage your expectations.

Title: Fantastic value
Review: Just used mine for the 1st time traveling around northern Scotland, I now the on line reviews have been rather polarised so I wasn’t sure what to expect. No worries, I had mine mounted on the dash of my 4×4 pick up truck, the camera works really well and the picture quality is good, as you now the pick ups can be quite bouncy on the road but the camera did very well. I had it plugged into the power and I would like it to stay on stand by mode for a lot longer, I will have to look deeper into the menu and see if it can be changed. I bought an after market GoPro dash mount but the configuration angles mean I can’t get it onto my trucks windscreen, will look for alternatives.
All in all I’m very pleased, its as good as the other Xiaomi products I own.

Title: No support, no idea.
Review: No support whatsover. No instructions how to update the firmware. The only thing online seems to be to use ‘Mihome’ but I certainly couldn’t get it to work on the iPhone. Despite enabling wifi on the camera and connecting to it on the iPhone, the app wouldn’t connect. Assuming I was using the right app – there’s no instructions as to what I should be using.
If there were instructions as to what app you’re meant to use and how to upgrade the firmware then maybe things would be different. I did try and download the firmware from fimi.com but you need an account for that and when I attempted to register I didn’t receive an email confirming my registration so couldn’t logon, therefore couldn’t download the firmware.
Sometimes you get what you paid for, I did here. I will be returning mine.

Title: Poor quality control.
Review: Arrived after 6 days. Probably received a returned item: dust under plastic lens and screen protector, language set to Spanish (default is Chinese). Crashes on powering on 2 out of 3 times. Recorded video shows pulsing, regular in/out of focus. Tested for 2 days using different settings and memory cards, same issues. Disappointed.

Review: This action cam is a very GoPro 6 Killer. Better Processor, Better quality Lens (SONY FDR X3000 Lens and Processor), professional contrast , true 30fps 4K, 1080 HD with last firmware at 120 FPS.Huge oled screen . I have tested into the ocean 3 times, till 50 mts, with its proper case . Recorded 290 GB of full 4K videos. No one problem till now. I also own a SONY FDR X3000 the best High Class action cam on the market, the only one with its proprietary Optical Stabilization (and the only one action cam with it that make a complete difference when using it under the water or making extreme sports) Mijia is the same sony fdrx3000 but without the Optical Proprietary BOSS stabilization , and only with the same standard software stabilization you can find on GoProHero 6.) Practically an expert eye see the difference , but for the price it worth it!If you need avery professional action cam , with a true 4K and a true 30fps and a true 120fps at 1080 , buy it.

L’Action Cam Xiaomi si presenta veramente bene, sia per packaging, molto semplice ma molto elegante, sia per i materiali e il design della cam.
Visivamente è molto essenziale ed elegante, presenta nella parte frontale l’obbiettivo, un piccolo logo inciso è il led che segnala la ricarica, se la batteria si sta scaricando o in verde quando la cam sta funzionando. Nella parte posteriore lo schermo, molto grande, con un ottimo touch. Nei laterali, solo uno sportellino per la porta usb mini che serve per la ricarica.
La cosa che colpisce di più è il materiale ruvido che al tatto la rende veramente piacevole.
📽️IMMAGINI E VIDEO📽️
Le immagini, i video e l’audio sono veramente buoni. Assolutamente paragonabili a ActionCam molto più costose. Le funzioni sono quelle presenti in tutte le migliori ActionCam. Foto, video, timelaps ecc.
La gestione è molto semplice, con pochi tocchi si gestisce tranquillamente tutto.
Per scaricare i file c’è l’app che attraverso il Bluetooth in maniera molto semplice scarica i file nel cellulare.
Che dire, un ottima Cam. Che a distanza di diversi anni funziona ancora benissimo ed è ancora un ottimo prodotto.
Unica pecca, nn è subacquea, bisogna acquistare gli accessori a parte, ma cosa molto importante, si trovano facilmente perché gli stessi della marca più conosciuta di ActionCam.
