Review: Absorbs pretty quickly. We are in the process of renovating the house and we are living in the downstairs with a kitchenette. This fit the counter perfectly and does the job. No complaints there. I have seen that after a while there is slight discoloration. I am assuming that is bound to happen given its nature to absorb. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but is something to mention here. Love it. I didn’t give starts for heat resistance, as I have never had a need to test that. I do use very hot water to wash dishes, but have never put a hot pot down in it.
