Title: USB Flash drive with a USB C at one end and a USB A at the other.
Review: This flash drive comes as a 128GB Flash drive. When connected to the computer it has 117GB of free space. I find it a little odd that the photos in the advert show it attached to a keyring with the USB C end protected by the swivel connector whilst the USB A end has no protection from damage or dirt. Nothing is supplied to attach to protect it. So I very much doubt I will use it in this way.The Flash Drive was instantly recognised by my computer and I am currently transfering a large 11GB file onto it to see how fast it transfers from my laptop to the device using my thunderbird USB C output. At the moment the data is running at about 44MB/sec but it has now dropped to only 8MB/sec. Despite this it has transfered the file over really very quickly, in the time it has taken me to type this.I have now tested the file on the stick and it as it is a gaming file the game is playing very well though the Flash Drive and I have plenty of room remaining for more files of a similar type.The Flash Drive is quite warm in use but not overly so and of course it is silent.So far it seems to be performing really well and for my needs is excellent and I would buy again, although I am still puzzled by the lack of protection for one end of the drive.

Title: Speedy little flash drive
Review: A great little flash drive.The dual USB design makes it simple to transfer photos from my Samsung 23U to my computer.The speed is much better than I thought it would be.The build quality is good too with most of it made from metal.The only minor criticism is that only one of the connectors stays protected in the case at any time.

Title: Very fast USB stick with both USB-A and USB-C
Review: This memory stick has one end with a traditional USB-A connector, and the other end has USB-C. There is a swivel cover to protect the end, however it can only protect 1 end, so the other is always open to damage, so slightly pointless? Maybe it needs 2 swivel covers.However it more than makes up for this with its speed. On my testing I achieved write speeds of 200MB/s, and read speeds of 320MB/s. I was testing on a 5 year old laptop. The speeds remained the same if I used USB-A or USB-C, no difference between them. Very impressive speeds. As a comparison I have a very well known make 32GB stick, which only managed speeds of 10 write and 23 read!Based on my testing and the decent price (£13.99 at the time of this review for the 128GB stick), it’s a definite recommend from me.—————————-This review is for an item I received free as part of the Amazon Vine program. I always review objectively, and only award 5 stars if I feel a product is worth it and is something that I would be happy to buy.

Review: There are situations where the transfer of data either from a USB based device to another that has USB-C only, or in the reverse direction, is required. Potential source and target devices may support Windows, OSX, iOS, Android, Chrome or Linux.This 128GB USB 3.2 Type-C Flash Drive – 2in1 Dual USB C Memory Stick – 360° Swivel Pen Drive – Smartphone, Tablet & Computer – offers a nice solution and is especially viable where the devices are not close enough to be connected by cable .Available in 3 capacities 64gb, 128gb and 256gb The drive is formatted to exFAT which is considered ‘universal’ and generally compatible with several operating systems, primarily Windows and Mac. The 128 GB which I have has a formatted capacity of 117gbThe cap fits either end interchangeably according to which connector is currently needed or most often used. The metallic shield moves rather more freely than is normal for this design and has the attachment for the cord section of the lanyard to be looped through.One criticism of the design here is that when not in use one end of the drive will always be exposed which could lead to dust and debris being collected.These do prove useful even as a computer boot device or for installation of most common applications onto multiple computers within a work environment especially when optical media cannot be used, while its main use will generally be for general data transfers.

Title: Acceptable read performance of upto 414MB/s on a 10GB/s port.
Review: The ‘USB C Flash Drive 128 GB, Dual USB, Up to 450MB/s USB 3.2 USB C, Key ring, Hole, Waterproof, Metal’ arrived in a simple blister pack.This metal cased Flash dive has a secure swivelling flap also made of metal, and even the key ring hole is part of the metal body, so a reduced risk of breaking which can happen with plastic connections.After formatting the flash drive in NTFS, I then copied two large video files which combine consumed 113GB of the available space, on testing the files, they were seen to be fully functional at the start and finish, and numerous places tested in-between.To test the flash drives performance I first connected it to a USB 3.1 connection using the USB A connector, I then used CrystalDiskMark 8 to perform and record tests. I them moved the flash dire to a 10GB/s USB C port and again run a set of tests. I have included the results in my picturesAs can be seen from the results on a USB 3.1 connection read speeds were fairly constant at 329MB/s but on the USB C connection 414MB/s were achieved which is just 10% below the maximum possible for the drive.Both results I consider quite respectable for the relevant connections.
