Title: Failed after a week
Review: Great keyboard for a week and then it disconnected and wouldn’t reconnect… Windows error saying the last USB device connected has malfunctioned. Tried everything on several different PC’s but it is dead as a doornail. Returned for a refund. Very dissapointing, think I will have to try a different brand for a replacement.

Review: I’m in love with this keyboardI’ve been a long time gamer using Logitech mechanical keebs and mouse, and have tried and own many others. For the longest time, every blue switches that I’ve play with are just simply LOUD. Yes. I bought my first couple blue switch keyboards because of the clicky sound, but that sound got old really quick, especially during WFH. Yes, if you search other KB forums, you might laugh, but there many that regrets how loud their blue switches are, and are hoping to find mods to make it less obnoxious. And for me, although, I went thru the rabbit hole with blue switches, I love linear switches for gaming, and also have a TKL red linear mechanical KB. Maybe I’m stupid, I can’t seem to type well with red switches for work.I took a chance with this Predator keyboard, and I fell in love with this. Is it perfect? No. But, this keyboard became my keyboard that I used day and night. How do I put this? This keyboard saved my marriage. I’m not kidding. My wife hates my full size G513 w/ blue switches when I WFH. Her colleagues can hear my ‘click click click’ during their virtual meeting (not funny to her).I love this keyboard so much that that not only I chose to keep it, I’ve swapped out my other keyboards PBT keycaps onto this Predator KB.Likes:A refined blue clicky feel and with sound that is distinct enough, especially to gamers that plays mainly with reds, yet it’s far from being obnoxious. The sound sits between a Loud Blue and a Brown. It’s definitely not a brown. The red switch feels identical to a cherry MX red.I can switch between a quieter blue or red (no tactile, no clicky) without change my setup.Optical switch instead of mechanical switchNo logo on the chassis except on the space key – after I swapped out my keycap, it fits right into my setup, and without brands clashing against my Logitech G903 and mousepad, and Zephyrus G14.The LED shine thru the stem, instead of north side of stem, which makes the light looks more uniform.Cable management is good, with the channels underneath. I play with the kb almost around 70-80 degree, and cable management underneath this KB allows me to have the cable sticks out on the left side. The palm rest feels supple.Stem fits all my other keycapsDon’t like:Key cap, guessing ABS platic, acceptable for big brands, but, I prefer PBT keycaps, especially the texture.Space bar / stabilizer – probably could do some mods to make it sound more consistent.Prefer to use my own cables to attach to the chassis. No TKL option (I like Full Size for work, TKL or smaller for gaming)Don’t know how to program the per key RGB lighting effectOverall:I’m surprised what Acer is able to achiever here. I bought with the intent to try, but fell in love with this keyboard. To me, it has the most refine blue click sound and a perfect red linear feel at my finger tip. I would only replace this in the future if Acer comes out with a TKL or smaller version.

Review: I ordered this because I’m a bit weird and like to match. I paired it with my Acer Predator laptop for when I want to game in my bedroom. I am enjoying the Kailh Blue switches and Acer’s signature teal blue caps with extra-large lettering (included in the purchase are the original W, A, S, D keys). I think some reviews had stated people were having difficulty changing the RGB; I’ve included a short video of me changing the RGB modes (and the clicky sounds!). The included instruction manually shows how to change the RGB.This keyboard is on the heavy side, constructed of metal and plastic. This gives it a very quality and durable feel. No wrist rest is included, so you may want to purchase one depending on your set up and style.Overall, I love this product, but it’s only getting four stars solely based on the list price of almost $100.At that price point, I’m spending money on other name-brand products like Corsair, Logi, Razer, etc. I purchased this on sale, 50%, and I suggest you do the same if you really want this product.

Review: Beautiful glowing lights that I can easily see at night. The beautiful rainbow lights glow through each key. Never had any problems with it at all.

Review: Bought this for my girlfriend for her birthday, everything was decent (the LEDs were very cool and the toggle for key feel is awesome) besides that the ESC key did not work. Went for a return from Amazon, and in the meantime, ordered another one for her as a replacement. This one came with keycaps off, ESC key still didn’t work, and this time F1 key did not work. ACER support makes it impossible to contact them, with all their “customer service†numbers and chats leading to dead phone lines. Overall, terrible quality for the price, ACER gives 0 support, and you’re better off going with a different brand that you can trust.
