About Us
Addis was founded in 1780 by an English Entrepreneur, William Addis. In 1770, William was sent to prison for causing a riot. Whilst in prison, he decided that the current method to clean teeth at the time could be improved upon. To that end, he saved a small animal bone from a meal, drilled small holes in the bone, and obtained bristles which he then tied in tufts and passed through the holes in the bone, finally sealing with glue to create the toothbrush.
After his release, William started a business to manufacture the toothbrushes, and soon became very wealthy. By 1840, toothbrushes were being mass-produced in England, France, Germany, and Japan.

Title: Convenient and Efficient
Review: I used the Addis Chop & Swipe Chopping Board for the first time yesterday, and it works great! The chopping board itself is sturdy and provides a good cutting surface. What I really love is the side trays. They make it so easy to separate waste from the chopped ingredients, keeping my workspace tidy and organized. No more pushing scraps to the side and having them get in the way.Overall, the chopping board is a fantastic addition to my kitchen. It makes meal prep more efficient and less messy, and I highly recommend it.

Title: Smart design
Review: Really well made, clever design. A little on the heavy side (I use it when I travel), but guess that means it’ll last longer. It all slots/locks together well when you’re done with it, and lays out easily when you use it. The side bits are easy to lift off to dump whatever you’ve cut into a bowl or pan and slot back on. Very happy with this purchase. One of the best cutting boards with this kind of design.

Title: Amazing
Review: An amazing product! Looks and feels like it should. The 2 extra pieces that you clip onto the side make cutting and binning the excess bits from fruit and veg alot easier.

Title: Difficult to secure side trays
Review: I was trying to replace an old chopping board with side trays. Hpwever this one is not sturdy enough for my needs. The side trays do not easily lock onto the main chopping tray

Title: Great little chopping board
Review: Bought this to use in our small campervan where space is at a premium. It lives in the little oven when travelling. Easy to wash and dry, so no damp wooden boards hanging around. Having the trays on either side, one for your chopped veg and one for the peelings keeps your work space tidy when all you have is a table to work on. Then tip the peelings in a rubbish bag, your veg in the pan, no mess on the table. Makes life a lot easier, I recommend this.
