Title: A SEGA TOYS Homestar Flux Home Planetarium for a fraction of the price.
Review: Ever since I saw a friend’s SEGA TOYS Homestar Flux Home Planetarium, I have wanted one. But there was no way I was going to pay the best part of £200 for it. The difference in price between the Homestar Flux and the Mumaniu Planetarium is so huge, that I was expecting it to be on it’s way back to Amazon once it had disappointed me. But I could not have been more wrong. The performance of the two machines is almost a dead heat. The Homestar Flux images are perhaps a tiny bit sharper, and it has a shooting-star function. But the shooting star feature looks a bit naff and my friend never uses it. We both use the planetarium machines to project the night sky onto the ceilings of our cinema rooms, and for the price, I am delighted with the Mumaniu Planetarium. There are 13 discs included, and I’m sure if I looked around, I could find more that are compatible. The build quality is very good, and just in case you forget to set the timer manually, the machine has a default timer of four hours, at which point it will turn itself off. The discs rotation can also be turned off if you wish. Projecting from knee height and off-center onto a flat ceiling 2M above the projector, produces a circular image with 3M diameter. I have tried all 13 discs, and am very happy with all of them except the UM60-UCD1 disc, which to me looks like a big eyeball watching me from the ceiling. And the Earth and Moon disc, where the Earth image is very soft and not very interesting. The rest of the discs though are fabulous, and really do add a lovely night sky to my cinema room for less than £30.

Title: Great product considering the price.
Review: Very easy to use and with 12 different slides its very engaging and entertaining. The images appear to move and are easy to put into focus. You do need a very dark room to get the full impact though.Obviously not as impressive as the ones you can buy for a lot more money but I love this little projector and have it on as I go to sleep. Its quiet and very portable.My only disappointment really is that the image doesn’t cover the whole ceiling.

Title: Prepare for take off.
Review: I got this for my daughters bedroom who doesn’t like sleeping in the dark.It arrived fast and well packaged.I was amazed when I saw how many different projection cartridges came with the product,. There’s lots!My daughter partocuallynlikes the moon one with the asteroids which when focused is one of the sharpest slides too.The build quality is simple made mostly from plastic. I have noticed some of the slides focus better than others but with so many to choose from it isn’t an issue.It doesn’t use alot of power which is great as it runs via USB and with its built in timer function I can get set it and forget it and not have to worry about powering it all night long encase it were to get hot.The colours it projects are rather vibrant at night bit not always super sharp some of the slides have abit of noise to them and arnt so sharp.Would recommend, Little ones will love it, sparking good conversations about our solar system and where we live.

Title: Love it!
Review: This says it’s meant for kids but I’m a grown adult and I love it. I’m really into astronomy so this was right up my street.It says its comes with 12 slides but I got 13. There are 6 slides in each pack and you get 2 packs but one slide was already in the projector.It’s very easy to use and you can change the focus to make the image more sharp and you can tilt the projector to get the best angle. You can also change the speed of the rotation but I like it on the slowest as that feels more realistic.Some of the images are brighter than others but it’s so calming laying in bed and looking up at the moon or stars. Always use it in a dark room with zero light for best results.I have included pictures of my 2 favourite slides but I do like them all.

Title: Complete rubbish.
Review: We bought this as a Christmas present to my 8 year old grandson. The slides are very poor quality and really out of focus. We tried it at different hieghts with the same result. Returned to Amazon. What a disappointment.

Review: After a few trial, it’s necessary that there’s no other strong light source in the room to get the clearest yet vibrant projection. Also, adjust focus properly. Everything looks good after all! Easy to use. Very quiet. The machine small than expect which is cute.
