Title: Easy to pair, great lighting
Review: Really happy with the colour and brightness of the bulbs – natural light.Very easy to pair. My parents also bought some and found the pairing easy and they’re in their 70’s.Highly recommend. Worth the extra buck.I previously bought cheaper smart bulbs and the colours were dreadful.

Title: An small investment but worth it for the quality and ease of use
Review: It is pricey but definitely worth it for the quality and how easy it is to pair and integrate into your smart home and other Philips hue lighting. Even if you don’t have a hue bridge it can transform a cheap lamp in to a smart lamp that very bright and easy to turn on,off and dim from your smartphone.

Title: So much brighter than the E14 candle original white ambiance
Review: I have been using Philips Hue since they first came out and I love the stuff, it’s in every room.However my E14 candle bedroom white ambiance lights are original and not the brightest, as much as I wanted the golf ball type it wasn’t available back then.The new white luster golf ball E14’s are so much brighter, I’m very impressed and so happy I bought them. Yes they don’t change white colour/warmth like the ambiance do, but they are so much more affordable and the colour is perfect, it’s the main colour we would use 99% of the time anyway.

Title: Considered the best for a reason
Review: Having wrestled with a few Tuya bulbs over the years, they always felt cheap, had trouble getting paired & showing their full range of adjustments, and then went bad after some time. These ones feel a lot more like a premium product, pair easily with Home Assistant + Sky Connect, & always show all their options. Not the brightest, but that’s just fine for most needs.

Title: Very good indeed
Review: I normally buy much cheaper smart bulbs from Philips’ competitors, but none of those sell E14 bulbs of this shape and size.I connected them to my home network using Alexa rather than the Hue Bridge, and the connection has been totally reliable even though they’re in a relatively weak WiFi spot. The light is warm – but not too orange – and there is no flicker when dimmed all the way down to 1%. I have a slightly larger E14 elsewhere in the house which has always been sporadic, and I will be replacing it with a Hue.

Title: Exactly as described
Review: The shape, fitting, colour range, communication options & type of these Hue bulbs has greatly increased in recent years such as colour gamut, available maximum brightness etc so READ the description before giving stuff an inappropriately bad review!These E14 bulbs are a shorter than the so-called candle ones & the colour temperature cannot be adjusted so are warm white only! Mine are attached to a Hue Hub rather than Bluetooth. One is controlled by a 1st gen dimmer switch & the other by a Smart Button – both work flawlessly in a system now totalling 9 lights, 8 accessories & single hub.
