-What you need: an electric kettle, white vinegar(or citric acid), tap water.
(1) Add white vinegar and water into the glss kettle, about 25% of vinegar and 75% of water.

Review: I don’t know how some are leaving reviews saying they are pleased with this kettle yes it is beautifully to look at and I was very pleased when I unpacked it but thats all it had going for it as within 1 week it stopped boiling half way through then would not turn on at all it is faulty one you may think ok its unlucky but friend ordered the same and had the same problem so this is definitely a manufacturing defaultI strongly recommend avoiding purchasing

Title: Does The Job
Review: I’ve had the kettle for just over a month, everything was good before I noticed that tiny flake of paint on the edge of the Kettle’s neck, where the lid rests on, started to come off, so I’d assume that it will get worse as the kettle is exposed to more heat. Another problem is that, on boiling point the kettle switches off before the water gets as hot as it needs to be to my liking. Having said the negatives, the pros would be; there is no plastic used in the kettle (except the little filter in the spout), it looks good, medium noise level, the boiling time is not too bad and in terms of weight, it is not a problem for me. That’s it for now, I may update this review in future.

Title: Looks over practicality
Review: Plus points are it looks amazing, not too heavy, easy to hold and if you remove the filter it is plastic free.However, I ordered the green version but when it arrived it’s much paler than in the photos and looks more similar to the blue. I don’t mind that as I couldn’t decide between the two anyway but if you specifically want that shade you’ll be disappointed.It’s much noisier than my old cheap kettle, and the filter has plastic / silicone seal around it which would inevitably be in contact with all of the water when being poured so unless you remove this it’s not 100% plastic free as they claim.The lid gets extremely hot so if you need to refill it soon after a boil you will burn yourself even if you ensure to touch the plastic ring on the lid rather than the metal.And lastly the most annoying part is that if you fill it any more than half way and boil it it overflows and bubbles out of the kettle leaving hot water on your kitchen surfaces.Overall not great value for money seeing as my old cheap £7 kettle didn’t have any of these issues. Only reason I replaced it was to go plastic free. I would expect improved performance from a kettle at this price.

Review: Tip: if you’re worried about silicone touching your water, that part is totally removable. Just poke your finger into the spout and push on the mesh strainer. The strainer and silicone gasket will pop right out and fall into the body of the kettle. It’s easier to rinse and clean that way too.

Review: As a Brit, having an electric kettle is a MUST. They are quite difficult to find in stores here in the USA because it seems that America is still living in the 1800s by selling kettles that still require boiling water on the stove! I mean WHY? A saucepan does the same thing! AND stove-top kettles take SO much longer to boil water and don’t switch off automatically when they’re done. It’s madness!But I digress.I have bought several electric kettles online, and they have all been pretty good. However, I wanted a yellow kettle to match our kitchen decor (we’re going for a mid-century modern look), and it had to have a filter in the spout. This one kept coming up, and I was unsure of a completely glass kettle (including the spout), but I have to say, this kettle is gorgeous (or “gawjuss” if you’re a true Brit!). It boils water really quickly, looks amazing, and the circular spout creates a lovely pour. I know that sounds weird, but if you’re ever poured something from a kettle, or jug, or anything with a spout, and it’s gone everywhere due to poor design, you can appreciate a “good pour”. I love this kettle so much. If it ever breaks or dies, I’m getting another (as long as it’s in yellow).
