Title: Great for top ups
Review: I bought mine a month ago and have only used it as a ‘take with me top up’. The first charge took a long time but after that, depending on how much I used it, it took between 10 minutes and an hour. I guess it depends on how long you run the battery down for. I’d say it’s a good purchase for the top up but I’ll stick to the ghd’s for the main job after each wash as I have thick, wavy hair. Perfect for what I intend to use. It’s actually almost as big as the standard straightener but the usb charger is what sold it for me.

Title: It’s certainly handy but has its quirks as well
Review: I’ve been using these cordless hair straighteners for some time at this point, and I feel like they’re not bad at all. They are very convenient since they are wireless—it’s just handy to have a cordless option when you’re traveling or unable to use a plug socket due to how busy the house can be (I’ve been there…).They’re lightweight, easy to pack, and don’t take up much room, which is always a bonus.While they work well once heated, they seem to take a while to get to the right temperature. The battery life is just about enough to handle one session on my longer hair. I don’t feel like I’m particularly slow either, so every time you use these, you’ll need to recharge them which can take some time. So while they are convenient in one sense, it does mean you’re adding extra steps somewhere else.However, if portability is your main priority I can definitely see these being useful—they worked well for me even if they’re a little on the smaller and slower side. I’m happy with them and it’s just nice to know I have a portable, wireless option now.

Title: Handy but pricey
Review: As a bald man, these were never for me but for my lady frend when on away nights. She says they are very handy to have but a bit large for a travel set. But still small enough to fit into a carry-on bag or overnight bag.With a mixed hair type, she says the two temperatures she uses most for a ‘going out’, layered hairdo are not present – 130° and 150°C – so se would not be able to do her favourite layering style without having to keep trying to sweetspot the temperature between two settings. But, she also said that she wouldn;t really be looking t do a major hairdo away from home without taking her home kit anyway, so she is being picky about the temperatiure and says that for most travel purposes, this is more than good enough.She does have a problem with the price though. The current DISCOUNTED price is £31.99 reduced from a full price of £39.99. Neither of those prices appeal to her (or me). “£10 too much to interest me”; she said.

Title: Small, practical, unmissable features
Review: A hair straightener that I love, not only is it extremely useful when traveling but also in everyday life at home. I don’t think anyone can imagine how easy styling becomes with a wireless device. Especially when I want a curly look, turning the device, always gave me headaches and pain in my hands because a long cable always pulled me back. So a big plus for the wireless option and for the autonomy of approximately 2 hours, it depends a lot on the temperature used. The two ceramic plates come close to each other without leaving any space, which means that my hair does not get caught during styling. I really appreciate the digital display of the temperature levels, it helps us a lot to use the exact step suitable for my hair texture. I have thick, but highlighted hair, and my recommendation would be a160 degrees, but although there are still 2 levels to the maximum, I can say that it straightens very well, and the curls are also defined and last a long time. My hair is quite long and rich, but I don’t spend more than 20 minutes to style it completely, this is due to the extraordinary maneuverability of the cordless option. My old hair straightener cost even more, it had no locking option, no digital display, only unmarked levels, and in addition it was wired, which makes me wholeheartedly recommend this product. It’s so light, small, and does an excellent job, it’s not to be missed with the current 22% displayed discount.

Title: Weird wording in the user manual, otherwise they work well and are convenient
Review: The user manual directions are quite bizarre on this straightener. This is a direct quote:”Wait 1-2 minutes or so (maximum temperature) , temperature shift indicator light often bright, plywood heating complete.” Yes, you read it correctly PLYWOOD HEATING…! Huh?Well, I’m glad to say there is no wood, plywood or otherwise on these heating straighteners. Why do we have to put up with such weird instructions, especially on an item with safety requirements for use? That aside, these straighteners, once charged up do work well, although I found they need charging after each use.The real feature with these hair straighteners is their easy of use and portability. Absolutely ideal if your going away, on holiday or camping, these provide reliable use, providing you have a way to charge them on a regular basis.They come in a soft carry bag and of cours the usual USB-C cable for charging. If you use them while traveling I would suggest you take a good power bank with you, to keep them well charged up. You’ll see from my video that they turn on/off easily and are simple to set the required temperatures.
