Title: So good we have framed it!
Review: I bought this as a gift for my wife. She’s not from Devon and hasn’t been to Dartmoor but she loves birds and thankfully loved this jigsaw too! It’s not an easy puzzle in that it is one to take your time over and savour. We ended up doing it together over the course of a week – a section here and a section there! The finished puzzle looks so good that we have framed it to hang it in our home. The jigsaw is well made with robust pieces and they have a lovely sheen to them. The box feels and looks premium and although this is more than we would ordinarily pay for a jigsaw, the enjoyment of completing it has provided value for money and now we have some art to hang too! Win, win!

Title: Nice puzzle but image could be better
Review: As per some of the other reviews, really. The puzzle element has a challenging level of difficulty to it, which is great if you’re a regular puzzler that likes to spend some time on one. The cutting and overall quality of the pieces is really good, and the image used isn’t awful as long as you’re happy to overlook the cobbled together composition of the birds and the image overall. It’s going to be blurry in places and that’s all there is to it. The box is properly robust and well made. I also like that they’ve included the poster – that’s a nice touch.Unfortunately, at the current price of £19.99, I wouldn’t have bought it. Being honest, I wouldn’t even have asked someone else to buy it for me as a present: it’s too expensive for what it is and the quality of the image composition. It’s a nice idea but the execution is lacking, so for that reason it scrapes a 4.

Review: Bought the Birds of Dartmoor poster while on holiday in Devon and when I got the email to say it was released as a jigsaw I had to have it. Beautiful design. Love it.

Title: Decently challenging puzzle but high price and bad ‘art’
Review: The first impression of this is that the ‘art’ is rather ugly effectively being a bunch of birds jammed on to a blurry background made sillier by the inclusion of tiny black numbers on them, however if you just look at it as something educational which is a look into the birds that live in dartmoor national park located in decon then its actually pretty interesting. It also contains a reference posted that is 1/4 of the size of the complete puzzle though there’d be nothing stopping you putting that up on the wall (instead of the puzzle).As for it being a puzzle the pieces seem to have been well cut and fit into their intended places well, its also got a decent amount of difficult especially due to the obvious fact of having a lot of pieces so unless you are notably good at this sort of thing it should last a while. However as the finished thing is not something I would personally want on the wall and the price seems rather premium compared to similar sized 1000 piece puzzles I find it hard to recommend.

Title: Lovely puzzle with good size pieces
Review: Got this for my elderly mum inlaw to do in the afternoons when she gets a bit bored. She finds the pieces large enough to handle and see properly and the picture is bright and colourful and doesn’t have too much sky which can be tricky to fit together. Nice thick card so it doesn’t deform when trying pieces together.Good quality gift for any puzzle lover.

Title: Bird puzzle
Review: This is a pretty big puzzle with 1000 pieces.It’s a great puzzle for any bird lover as there are so many different birds in the picture. All of these birds are ones that you would find in Dartmoor.The picture has been printed on in real high quality and the pieces are nice and smooth.It’s a pretty challenging puzzle as the pieces are fairly dark and lots of similar looking birds. I find that the challenge makes it more fun though.

Title: good for bird lovers
Review: This is a thousand piece puzzle that is just as described. I am not a bird lover but enjoy the activity for its relaxing qualities. This puzzle does provide that. There are a few things that made me give it a four star instead of five. The background is blurry. I also found the colours very similar. I think a little more contrast would have made the puzzle more exciting, however, this is a personal view. Others might love this!
