Application Guidelines :
50% strength of bond in 20 minutes, 90% strength of bond in 24 hours, and 100% strength of bond after 72 hours.

Title: Seems to work well – don’t know if it’s genuine or not
Review: This is the second time I’ve bought Roseberry branded clear VHB tape. I’ve had a roll for some time and used it on things where it has worked well over many years. I wasn’t sure then and I’m not sure now if this is genuine 3M tape or not. I’ve tried in the past to get information from 3M to check products and they are useless dealing with the public (as good as their products tend to be).You’re paying quite a premium for the 3M name, so this does matter.I don’t know if this is exactly the same as the one I’ve used successfully before, but it seems good so far. This time I used it initially for sticking some PVC window trims (Georgian bars) back on to glass double glazed units. They’ve successfully done that initially so it’s a question of seeing if there are any problems longer term. I’m optimistic, but will update this review if there are any problems.I had already tried some foam tape which was meant to be specifically for the job and that was chocolate teapot with the bars falling off again shortly afterwards (stuck well to the PVC, but not to the trickier glass surface).If you’ve not used VHB tape, it really is awesome for the right job. This one is great if you want something thin (i.e the surfaces are quite well fitted) and/or clear (so it’s good where I’ve used it, because it doesn’t show). You’re better off with the VHB that comes with a foam carrier (usually grey) if the surfaces are not such a close fit. I use that one to mount camera and intercom mounts on motorcycle helmets for example.It’s expensive, but if you have a demanding job, it’s worth it for the hassle free factor. As with any adhesive, thorough cleaning first advisable (I always finish with a wipe of IPA).The previous roll of tape I had, had one problem. That was that the edge of the tape stuck to things it was placed on (even a sheet of paper etc). Whilst you could usually get it off OK, it did mean that some layers of the tape might get stuck together on the edges meaning it could tear or distort when you were trying to unroll a piece to use.This roll came with protective covers on the cut sides of the tape and in a resealable bag. Really good attention to detail.I’ve given 5 stars but will amend if any issues.

Title: Very Strong, Maybe too strong
Review: This has worked for me in many applications, Provided a reliable join every time. The only thing that is stopping the full 5 stars is that the backing is a nightmare to remove, its easier to remove the tape from the surface you have stuck it to rather than remove the backing form the other side.

Review: The 10mm width is ideal so it’s almost invisible. I used it to position an acrylic sheet with mounted house number so as to be visible through glass over front door. A strip top and bottom was used to stick it to the uPVC door surround.
