Title: Fiddly to fit and started producing smoke
Review: Replacing this element should have worked, but it started producing smoke as soon as the toaster was switched on. It was also rather fiddly to fit and necessitated buying a tiny spanner which should have been included with the element. Oh well, time for a new toaster.
