Review: The fat does drain to the outer edge of the pan, but that’s not helpful if you need the fat for frying all over the base. I wish I’d sent it back but too late.

Title: Decent casserole dish
Review: I ordered a wok but received a casserole dish. Not really an issue, it’s a decent dish. It works on all kinds of hobs. It’s has a good size and depth for a range of dishes. It has a non-stick coating on it that so far is working really well. Time will tell how long that lasts but so far so good. It’s heavier than I expected it to be and feels pretty sturdy. The handles on the side make it easy to move around. Overall a decent pan.

Title: Good size, versatile casserole dish with heat proof handles
Review: Tower 30 cm casserole dish with glass lid. The depth of the pan is around 6cm. Suitable for use on gas, electric, induction, halogen, and ceramic stoves.The dish has a nonstick surface, making it both easy to use and easy to clean. It can also be put in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.It has plastic covered handles helping to manage the dish when hot. The lid also has a plastic handle on the top.The combined weight of the casserole dish and the lid is 2 kg, without the lid it is around 1.2 kg. At this weight it is reassuringly heavy so that it does not tip over whilst using it but not so heavy that it is difficult to move when it contains food. The quality seems good, and this is perfect for a variety of dishes from casseroles to curries as well as stirfries.I hope you found this review helpful.

Title: Warped immediately
Review: Firstly, there are issues with this listing at the time of writing, as I received a casserole pan, rather than the wok which was shown in the images (and the option text).I used this on a standard glass topped electric hob, and noticed very quickly that food was sliding towards the edge of the dish. This is both good and bad for the pan. Good as it shows how incredibly effective the non stick surface is, but bad because it meant the pan was warped upward in the centre (about 5mm!). This meant it did not keep proper contact with the heat source which is not ideal at all. The box it came in was undamaged, so I assume this warping happened while cooking due to the base not being suitably thick.It’s easy to cook with, looks great, and the non stick coating works like a charm, but the pan is warped. Impossible to recommend on that basis. I might try to knock it back into shape, but it will only happen again, and moreover; why should I have to?
