Review: Ordered these as I have no right-angled clamps and thought they would be useful. The box was a bit bigger than I was anticipating with the clamps fitting tightly inside. I like the fact they are bigger than expected as it should be better for clamping larger items. The clamps seem fairly solid being made of aluminium alloy. I couldnâ€™t find any sharp burrs on the edges although one of the screws keeping a nut in place had a slightly damaged head but not stripped enough to be useless, so this was made safe for use. The clamping â€˜â€™headâ€™ is on a ball joint at the end of the screw so can be adjusted slightly if necessary to accommodate small differences in thickness in items to be clamped.The handles are soft grip which is just as well as I found the tightening and loosening action somewhat uneven with several sticking points which required manipulation to move through. I thought this might be a problem with just one of the clamps, but it was the same with both. I wondered if this issue would bed down with use but having tried many times, the issue remained â€“ frustrating but not a show stopper. I used a speed square to check the accuracy of the right angle and it seemed pretty good as was the clamping grip which held well when the square was waggled and pulled.Overall, these are useable corner clamps let down by the jerky/sticky screw action which is a shame as it feels like a cheap component has let down an otherwise decent product. Ultimately, the clamps will do what they were made for, but the ease of use could be improved. At Â£18.99 for two clamps at the time of review, they appear to be at the lower price end of the market.

Title: They have come in very handy and they are well made
Review: These are really nice quality clamps, I like that the majority of the components are made of metal with the exception of the handle.I also like that the internal clamp piece on the end of the screw can pivot to account for different thickness of wood.The handle has a soft rubber textured grip which is comfortable to hold and the screw feels nice and smooth.It also has 2 slots on the base of the clamp so you can mount it to your bench or drill press.Overall I think they are a nice set of right angled clamps and I am sure they will last me a long time so I am happy with them.

Title: Just average
Review: Pros- finish is nice- looks to be machined properly- good clamping force- fairly comfortable handlesCons- threading isn’t great, quite tight in many places on bothThe main con might annoy people enough but that’s the only real major flaw I’ve found in it. Both of them over the entirety of the twisting got tight-ish many times. Others lesser than some but I’m not sure lubrication will fix it. I can only hope over time it will fix it. Not sure what’s causing that issue though.Other than that it’s a good set. Good angle and clamp force. Generally a little better than the generic ones you see but the threading is the main annoyance. Hopefully it wears off over time. At which point I’ll update the review but for now it’s just average. I would have expected better performance with a slightly higher price tag on it. On sale or with a voucher if it’s 20 or under it’s better quality than the others around this price but add on about 4 quid and I’m not sold on it’s quality over others.I haven’t had to deal with the screws yet but they look like they won’t take a lot of pressure but it might be the overly garish chrome style coating. Whatever coat it is, it’s not the nicest. I’d rather have bare metal than coated in what they use.
