Review: I have incorporated this blade into my home made wire stripper, similar in design to the machine this is intended for. Compared to the tubing cutter I had previously installed, this thing is wicked sharp and much stronger. My wire stripper is 10 times more effective at cutting insulation than previously. Better yet, this blade can be sharpened if you have the right equipment. The ball bearing hub will easily outlast the blade life. Make your wire stripper more effective and try one of these in it.

Review: I’m making my own wire stripper, manual. I’ll have to purchase a motor and other parts to make a real one. But this is the essential part and very useful. All I needed was an inside wedge (wooden, carved) and the ability to vary the thickness of the wire. This was all easy enough. This was placed on a rod and it is very useful for striping wires. I’ll have to upgrade to a motor soon.This thing is sharp and durable. It has lasted a while now and it has not dulled a bit. I am conservative with how deep I put it, because I do not want to cut into the metal. It has been good for me, maybe it will be useful for you too.

Review: This is just as good a blade as the one that came on my Frstem industrial wire stripper. Good bearings that allow the blade to move freely, sharp but hard edge that won’t get nicked easily, and well balanced with no wobble or alignment issues. It’s a good price, and I will make the money back from stripping copper wire with it in minutes.
