Review: Needed an extra set of wrenches for when out away from the shop. Find these wrenches to be of good quality and value. The carrying/storage pouch is sturdy and convenient and makes it nice for keeping all the wrenches together and secured during transport and organized when using in the field.

Review: This set of SAE ratcheting wrenches is a homeowner’s quality wrench and not a professional wrench so that is how I am reviewing them. They don’t compare to a really expensive big name professional set but for this price, one cannot expect that. With that out of the way, I will be reviewing as a homeowner quality wrench.This set of SAE ratcheting wrenches comes in a nice carrying case that folds out and has grommets for hanging on the wall.The carrying case is sturdy nylon that is stitched well and has reinforced stitching between the wrenches.The wrenches come from 5/16″ to 3/4″ which is pretty standard in my experience.These wrenches are flat and fairly thin as you can see in pictures 4 & 5. This can help them get into places that an angled wrench cannot.One end is open and one end has the ratcheting mechanism.To tighten a bolt, you put it on face up. To loosen you must take the wrench off and flip it over. There is no reverse on the mechanism.The mechanism is smooth and does pretty well. There are a lot of gears on this so it will “catch” quickly so you can work in a fairly tight space.I have put a short video showing the mechanism working though it is not on a bolt because I didn’t have one handy at the time I was photographing. But these do take a fair amount of torque and work fine.These are the quality that I would expect to find in the large freight store.The durability should be fine for the average homeowner but if these do not perform as expected, I will update this review of course.These ratcheting wrenches were made in China
