Review: Needed extra WiFi coverage for my garden as my routers WiFi coverage from the front of the house doesn’t reach that far. Fitted the WiFi extender socket which matches my other bg sockets beside the garden patio doors and now I get enough coverage to browse and stream music in the garden. Where I situated the WiFi extender it has a clear line of sight of my garden with no outside walls in the way. I lost some Internet speed but it was enough to browse, stream music and video.

Title: Terrible
Review: This product was dreadful for me. Having been recommended this type of thing from a friend, using similar I did a bit of research and decided on the BG make due to the quality aspect.I had it professionally changed over from the standard socket by a qualified electrician. All fitted in with no issues (yet). I then followed the instructions and had it linked up to my WiFi quickly using the WPS method and button on the socket. Signal showed full WiFi bar reception on my devices around my home and in my garden. That’s where the good news stopped.I then found out that despite the strong looking signal that the internet was unusable now. Completely unusable. Internet pages wouldn’t open, YouTube videos impossible to watch.I then carried out a Speedtest and found that my download speed was now non existent 0.01mbps.Due to this, I put the unit into ‘holiday mode’ which is the only was of turning it off and the speeds returned to normal.I have since had the unit removed and have returned for a refund.Please do not waste your time with this product. It looks like it should be great and work well. It does the complete opposite and will ruin your network.I have since purchased mesh WiFi, which is amazing and works even better than expected.

Review: Installed this so I could get Wi-Fi in a small room at the back of the house. While it does this, the transfer speeds are not particularly Stella. I get around 5mb.

Review: Not sure how or why this is happening … wired it all up and was really pleased to see my phone indicating strong wi-fi signal which was great as previously the signal was weak … however the actual daya throughput is still the same. Less than 1Mb ??? I get over 300Mb with Starlink but this one room in the house the signal was poor but this double socket has done literally nothing to improve throughput. Waste of money. Should have bought a proper router or extender to begin with 🙄
