Review: Used to drill 8 holes on hard concrete to anchor a gazebo. These bits worked while other failed. Easier to use 4mm first for a pilot hole, then bigger ones. The bits are still sharp after 8 holes

Title: These are probably the best masonry bits I’ve used.
Review: I have used these for a few years, and found them to be the best in regards to longevity.My biggest test was putting battens onto concrete blocks for a dry wall project. Lots of drilling, and we burned through quite a few bits I had in my toolkit, but these bosch ones were the best as they lasted the course.I’ve used them in concrete blocks, light blown blocks, bricks and concrete, they work well.Note the pro ones have the green/blue paint in the recesses, there are also low quality, lower price options from Bosch that don’t have the paint.I bough the Amazon set when they were on special, much better deal than buying them individually at full price, and a similar price for cheap, non-brand ones from most DIY stores, where they tend to be made out of cheese.My biggest tip is not to let any drill bit get too hot, and one of the biggest causes is the dust from the drilling. So stop frequently and pull the bit out to get the dust out, and then restart drilling.
