Title: Dont use your lighter socket unless you want a flat battery.
Review: I know the title and score is kind of contradicting but this dashcam is good like surprisingly good. Really nice screen which fully covers the mirror, very sharp screen, clear and smooth camera both front and rear, clearly visible number plates from a fair distance and im pretty sure you’d be able to fit this to a bus the length of wire it comes with. Hiding the wires is a pain but when isnt it?2 days after installing……. dead car battery. or at least enough for her not to start. So i ether need to get into the routine of unplugging it when i get out of the car or spending another £20 on another set of wires. which to be honest i might actually do.So ya, the dead battery is annoying but i should of known better as the light socket never turns off in cars so of course it’ll drain the battery.But for what this camera is meant to do, it achieves and whole lot more

Title: Do not purchase bad back up from Jansite.
Review: Mine has only lasted 6 weeks and I have problems.The reverse bars do not switch off and I can no long get in to the settings on the unit.Jansite will not write back and of course my warranty with Amazon has expired.

Title: Lovely clear images
Review: The perfect solution to having no rear view in our Motorhome. We needed to add a 4 pin extension cable also purchased via Amazon, to get the required length, but now we can see what’s going on behind, and record images in case of an incident. I particularly like that you can adjust the view by swiping the screen, and the phone app.The rear view was initially the wrong way round, but this is easily altered in settings.Would highly recommend.

Review: Not sure what’s happening here but the cam was good for about a month and it’s now says that there’s no power supply and switches off…as a month is gone I can’t return it and driving around with no rear cam…not sure how to get help from Amazon
