Title: Nice quality scales with average app and no wifi sync
Review: Scales feel nicely made and have a premium feel. You have to install an app and connect via bluetooth at which point you can capture a whole bunch of data (this didn’t work first time for me but after a retry the connection was established). This does sync with Apple Health which is a nice touch.The thing that is a miss for me is the ability for the scales to sync direct to the cloud over wifi so you don’t need to make the connection to your phone. My previous scales did this and it was perfect as I don’t make a habit of taking my phone into the bathroom. I also worried a bit about where my health data was being stored and I didn’t like the comment in the Privacy Policy that they might share my personal data with ‘a company that offers prizes’.

Title: Requires an app to be useful
Review: Because of the bigger screen, I was hoping this would give me the stats it claims to measure without having to install an app – alas, without the app, the only thing it displays is my weight.The design itself looks good – and fits into my bathroom very well.Compared to my non-smart scales, the accuracy is always lining up reasonably (within a few % at most) – and that was making sure I was calibrating it when being moved around.However, I weigh 60kg yet when I stand on the scales, it seems to be pushing on the screen so it goes bright white in the bottom corners (like when you used to push on an old screen to hard). If anyone larger stood on this, I’m afraid it might collapse in on itself.Because of this and you must use the app to make it useful, I’m not that impressed.

Title: Accurate scales but difficult to set up on the app
Review: The scales are pretty accurate but connecting them to the app was a nightmare that I never actually managed to get working. I suppose someone with a little more technical know how may have better luck than me, but I tried on and off for over an hour, and I still couldn’t get the FitDays+ app to talk to the scales.so I have given up trying for the time being and will wait until my 25 year old son next visits us.I am hoping he will be able to resolve the connection issues and maybe tell me what I’m doing wrong.In summary – probably perfect for younger tech minded people with modern phones, but unfortunately not for me, or anyone else born in the 1940’s or 50’s

Review: Bisonbody Smart Digital Body Scales are a great way to keep your health in check.These scales are accurate and I compared them against my GP check up.The app that you use to go along with these scales is fantastic and pretty straight forward to use. Once you’ve synced your scales with your phone you get to see every body measurement from vascular fat, BMI to weight and your heart rate to mention few.The design is really nice and sleek and scales feel well made and robust. I like how much information I get from these smart scales and they don’t cost a fortune.Highly recommended.

Review: I already have a weight scale that uses the Fitdays app on my phone. This particular scale is for young adult kids and they are bathroom. They can set up their profile and see the basic numbers when it comes to bodyweight. My son does a lot of sports that have weight classes to go along with them. So he likes to make sure that he is within those numbers to be able to stay in his class. They seem to like it and it works out for them and my son gets the most usage out of it.

It did/does provide me with my BMI and Body Fat Percentage, along with other details, by simply stepping on the scale. The Fitdays+ app is easy to set up. Bluetooth required.
