Title: Do NOT buy!
Review: I used this product twice. Was about to use it for the third time when I noticed that several of the numbers on the dial and the print above had disappeared & smudged. I contacted the seller who then accused me of using solvents or an abrasive to clean it which is why the transfers came off!! Why would I use a solvent to clean an item I had used on just 2 occasions? All I did was wipe the item with a sponge cloth which had been rinsed in clean water containing a weak solution of Fairy Liquid. I have contacted the seller on several occasions & they are adamant that I am lying. Believe me, I am NOT. This is a rubbish product which I cannot use since the rest of the numbers just smudge & disappear when you touch them lightly. Once all the numbers have vanished, it’s not going to be safe to use this fryer when you have no idea what temperature the oil is at!! Also, when used for the first time, at one point, there was a mini explosion which caused the oil to spill out over the sides (I had the correct amount of oil inside & the temperature was not on full). Must be some fault with the electrics. Dreadful customer service.Thankfully, I eventually received a refund but only after a very prolonged verbal dispute with the supplier/manufacturer.Also, a very big THANK YOU to Amazon customer services who helped bring the dispute to a final closure.

Review: The fryer is a very neat little unit especially for one person although it would be OK for two the unit was ordered in the morning and was delivered by 630pm on the same day .I tried it out that evening and the chips were perfect. I would recommend this fryer.

Review: I was a bit nervous about some of the bad reviews but found this fryer really easy to use. Trial and error at first with the temperature, but made notes for next use. Just note that the dial is a guide, not the law. Heated up quickly, maintained temperature and cooked well. Seems sturdy, good non slip feet and the lid is cool touch so checking food was easy and safe. It is very small, you could do chips for two if they were sensible portions. I’m really pleased with it. It feels like fair quality for the price, and it works.
