(as of Nov 01,2024 23:18:43 UTC – M8 self tapping concrete anchor screws . . Premium self tapping screw anchors, which drill a thread directly into the pre dug pilot hole, no dowels required. Self tapping screws are a great way to attach a wide variety of materials to masonry units. Really easy to use. Simply drill a pilot hole and use a wrench socket or wrench for tightening the screw in concrete, natural stone, solid or hollow bricks, hollow blocks, etc. The thread is high low for easier dust removal and easier insertion. Threaded anchor and self tapping provide secure anchoring, the substrate becomes the nut for the bolt. This corresponds to a method already tested and validated on metals and wood for a wider range of materials. They can be reversed and reused in the same hole, since the thread is recessed. Ideal for attaching wooden slats battens, door window frames, floor machines, wall plates , signage, etc. Hooks or handrails, conduits, satellite or parabolic antennas, lines etc. In fact, everywhere a fixing for concrete or masonry is necessary. Features and benefits: No expansion: unlike sockets or dowels, you can place them close to the edge without risk of breakage Eliminates the problem of alignment: drill the pilot hole directly into the material and the substrate. Suitable for a wide variety of surfaces, concrete, solid, hollow or perforated brick, natural stone, marble, etc. Easy to fix easier to tighten, especially with low torque, than screws conventional self tapping screws. Digs a thread into the base material, no dowel required. Passivated yellow zinc. Increases corrosion resistance. Premium carbon steel. Extremely robust and resistant. Tensile forces of 1080 N mm2.

Title: Great anchor bolts
Review: I have used these anchor bolts many times and never had any problems with them,i used them recently to install a set of T&K wall brackets as i’m putting up a cb antenna on the back of my house. The one bit of advice i’ll give to people using them for the first time, drill the holes 1 mm small than the recommended size and it’s best to use a cordless impact gun to screw them in as using a rachet is slow and they do feel tight when trying to screw them in.Hopefully this info will be of some help to someone

Title: Work well with brick and block but forget granite….
Review: These work very well with brick and block but trying to get them to bite into granite was another story even increasing the size of the drilled hole didn’t help at all…

Title: Screw in bricks SOLID
Review: I’m building a large shed that uses one wall of the house as one side of it so I’m attaching 45x95x2400 timber to the brickwork.Into the wood I drilled a 10mm hole and used a 25mm spade bit to just go deep enough to make it flush with M10x25 penny washers from toolstation. For the bricks used an 8mm masonry bit and a ratchet to tighten the anchor bolts in. Really easy to do and the bolts are TIGHT! That timber isn’t going anywhere and I’ve got a really solid attachment to the house.

Title: BRILLIANT!
Review: I bought these to attach the first batten of timber to my wall in readiness for building a patio area. I used a 8mm SDS drill bit to drill the brickwork. They are not the best design bricks but the bolts did a sterling job of fixing the battens. From now on, I will be using these bolts every time I get called out to attach a TV bracket etc to the wall. 10/10 from me 👌

Title: Perfect for fitting wooden gate post to house wall
Review: Recently replaced a garden gate and needed to replace the wooden posts bolted to the house wall and a brick garden wall holding the gate up. Previous posts were in with regular screws and rawl plugs which had worked their way loose over the years. Decided to replace them with these bolts (m8 100mm size) after seeing a bunch of people using them online to do similar jobs. Have never used self tapping brickwork fasteners so slightly skeptical. Drilled an 8mm hole and then used a regular socket set to slowly screw these in, applying a bit of pressure as I went. They all went straight in, no problems and they are TIGHT…..great fasteners that i’ll definitely use for projects in the future. Recommended.

Title: Don’t put into bricks near edge of a wall
Review: Great VFM and holds really well (I used these to give additional security to a fence post I am now using as a gate post.Make sure you put them into brickwork, but no more than half a brick away from the edge of a wall as it splits the brick of its too close to the edge.
