Title: Good base for lots of pastry!
Review: This is a big pastry mat!It’s about twice as thick as my old pastry mat, which was also smaller so if I was batch-baking, it sometimes wasn’t big enough to cope. This is also more robust. It is not, however, as thick as the silicone mats that are designed to be used in the oven, so this does roll up for storage in a (wide!) kitchen drawer.I like that the measurements are in imperial on one side and metric on the other for both the mat itself (for length) and the marked concentric circles (if doing a pie)The colour is also very suitable as the flour and pastry show up well against it.The only criticism I have so far is that it is supplied folded, rather than rolled, so it comes with a crease and was well-stuck together on delivery. Hopefully, the crease will drop out (it has almost done so already) and rolling it with a sheet of paper will stop it sticking together again during storage in my kitchen drawer!
