Title: My go to HD
Review: I get through laptops and computers – more than any sane person should. This is my go-to drive for upgrades – cheap, fast enough, reliable, and easy to install. If you want an immediate and noticeable improvement to the speed of your computer, this will do it. Startup times are very noticeably quicker and operation is quieter. I’m sure others are equally as good, and if you’re an aficionado, you’ll probably look down your nose at this – it’s not the latest, greatest NVME stick. True, but it’ll work in any computer that has a 2.5 bay, and does not need a degree in computing to figure out if the NVME is supposed to be SATA or PCIe, or M.2 or size 40 or 80 or 120 , or blah. Save yourself the effort – this’ll do. You also don’t need a bunch of adapters to make it work – it just works out of the box.

Title: Excellent Product
Review: Bought to replace a HP Pavillion G6 Laptop 500GB HDD. Fit perfectly in HDD Slot (after adding the Sidebars and Rubber Spacers from the OLD HDD(4 Screws)). Used Acronis to Clone the Drive but I had to install the SSD in the Laptop first because of the error message ‘Unable to Lock Disk. Boot Your Computer From a Linux Based Bootable Media). But this was easily sorted by externally connecting the removed existing HDD to a Sabrent SATA 2.5 to USB Cable and it worked fine . Took approx 2hrs for the full clone and when I removed the Acronis USB Loader (I reconfigured the BIOS to bootup from the OS Boot Loader / SSD Drive) and it booted in no time perfectly and everything loaded. The Extra Space (above the 500GB cloned) from the SSD was simply added as an extra Partition. My laptop is now much much faster, quicker Bootup times by far and is now a Quieter laptop.(*No additional drivers were required using Windows 10).

Review: Tts Crucial, they know what they’re doing and and they did it again here. The 2TB variant is just as quick as all the other crucial SSDs in my rig and has no problem holding and quickly loading thousands of RAW images and uncompressed video files

Title: Works in my Acer Asipre 5742. You will need a USB SATA cable.
Review: I replaced the old slow disk drive in my Acer Aspire 5742 with the 1TB version. It works well and the performance of the laptop is hugely improved. It went from booting Linux Mint in 1min 40sec down to 23sec !!I highly recommend this SSD for improving the performance of an old laptop with a spinning disk drive. The only suggestions I have are -1. Get a USB SATA cable if you are going to replace an existing drive as it doesn’t come with one.2. Use Macrium Reflect (I used the free version) to clone the drive if you have a dual boot configuration. The Acronis software that Crucial provide links for did not like the Linux partitions.

Review: Bought this as a supplementary drive in a base unit on my Mac mini. Perfect for the job, simple push fit install and immediately up and running. Easy to set up Time Machine backups locally and also a partition for the remainder of the drive to be used as additional storage. Good value so very happy.

Fácil de instalar y al utilizar Linux se configura de forma muy eficiente su desempeño. El disco duro mecánico anterior es ahora respaldo de información. Aproveché para integrar una tarjeta de memoria RAM con mayor capacidad, de 8Gb para tener 12 GB totales. Review: compratelo è il secondo in 1 anno velocissimo affidabile e super stabile sotto stress, ne uso uno come libreria giochi steam ed un paio li ho usati per tutto anche chia, sono dei mattoni indistruttibili magari un pelo meno veloci dei samsung ma il risparmio a mio avviso li rende la scelta migliore non scaldano niente ed in ultima spesso in scrittura sono piu veloci del dichiarato vale sia per il 500 che il 2tb sul 1tb ho riscontrato lievi flessioni in lettura ma davvero stiamo parlando di inezzie la differenza con la serie mx sopratutto nelle size 2tb è dabbero bassa
