Title: Attractive and effective
Review: I’ve been using this drying mat in my caravan to extent the amount of items that I can allow to drain and dry at a time.The mat is attractive, it rolls up into a compact shape which is easy to store when it isn’t needed and appears to hold a reasonable amount of water.I will note that for me, it’s important to allow it to dry and not leave it on the worktop wet or it’ll get smelly and messy.A good fallback for when you have a large load of dishes to wash that won’t fit on the main drainer.

Title: Looks Good but Falls Short
Review: Designed to be super absorbent and ideal for use with a dish rack or as a standalone drying mat, it appeared to be both functional and stylish.Upon unboxing the mat, I was impressed by its appearance. The fabric was smooth and had a modern look that complemented my kitchen decor. The size was generous, providing ample space for drying dishes, glasses, and other kitchenware. The non-slip rubber backing was a notable feature, ensuring the mat stayed in place on my countertop, even when loaded with dishes.However, the true test of any drying mat is its absorbency, and here, the Draining Board Mat fell short. Despite its claims of being super absorbent, I found that it did not soak up water as efficiently as I had hoped. After washing a load of dishes, there were noticeable puddles of water on the mat’s surface, and I had to wring it out to prevent overflow onto the counter frequently. This was particularly disappointing given its intended purpose. In everyday use, the mat’s lack of absorbency became increasingly evident. While it was capable of handling light moisture from a few cups or utensils, it struggled with larger items like pots and pans. The quick-dry feature also didn’t perform as expected. Even after leaving the mat out to dry overnight, it remained damp in the morning, which was inconvenient for continuous use.Despite its shortcomings in absorbency, the mat had some positive aspects. Review: I would recommend this mat to have something that looks nice to place items on the stone counter to stop any marking / chipping.Cannot say I have found it particularly absorbent so not sure I would be comfortable putting wet items on the mat.If your looking at a protective mat for your countertop then these look great – if purchasing for drying items – be careful
