Title: Great contoller, really bad instructions and software
Review: Easily the best full hall effect Xbox style contoller you can get for PC, but it’s really let down by awful software support.Pros- Lightweight- Comforatble, feel very similar to a vanilla Xbox One Series controller- Can switch modes so it appeas as generic controller, Nintendo Switch Pro controller, or Xbox One controller on your PC- Can conntect to upto 3 devices simultaneously (via USB dongle, vis USB cable, via Bluetooth)- Analogue sticks are wonderfully preciseNeutral- Ok battery life- Overly strong vibration – had to tune down- There is no profile support. On the GameSir G7 SE (which I have) you can press the “M” multi-function button with a face button to toggle between presets that you can set up. Here this is replaced by being able to conntect to different devices.- You can press combinations of buttons on the controller to customise it on the fly – without software, such as setting up rapid fire, or assigning the two back paddles… which is nice, but a working Windows app would make this easier. You can only adjust the dead zones using the app…Cons- Really difficult to set up due to having to use a mobile app. You have to connect to an iOS or Android device via bluetooth, to adjust the back buttons or stick deadzones. The PC versions os GameSir Nexus and GameSire T4K do not work.- The mobile app require access to your camera, location while app is in foreground, microphone, make telephone calls, download files without notification, and read audio and video files from shared storage. It has an invasive set of permissions.- Trying to connect to Bluetooth is difficult as you need to figure out which “mode” you want to be in – and the manual only tells you how to switch modes but doesn’t tell you what they do.- The rear paddles are larger and higher placed than the G7 SE, so you can end up accidently pushing them mid gameplayI used an old iPad which is isolated from anything important to set up this device, and once I set upd the deadzone (from 5 to 3 to be smaller), I haven’t used the app since.I’d still recommend this as a great PC wireless controller, but its level of customisation and ease of use is nowhere near that of the wired G7 SE.

Review: The controller feels nice to the touch and I love the clicky buttons but if you want a wireless controller, go for something else. When using the dongle, disconnections are frequent and/latency can be huge. Not recommended whatsoever.

Review: レビューにSteamでジャイロ使えないと書いている人がいますが、使えます。おそらく3パターンあります。1つ目がBluetoothでのPCペアリング時にコントローラーがオフのときY＋ホームボタンでプロコンとして認識させる方法。（遅延が結構あるので非推奨）2つ目が付属のUSBレシーバーを繋いで、コントローラーがオフのときにX＋ホームボタンでつなぎ（このときホームボタンは緑に光っています）、ホームボタンの左右にあるメニューボタンと表示ボタンを同時に長押しし、ホームボタンの光り方を赤色にします。3つ目は有線でPCとつなぎ、2つ目と同様にホームボタンの左右のボタンを同時押しして、ホームボタンが赤になればOKです。すると、コントローラーをプロコンといて認識するので、あとはPCにプロコンを繋ぐときと同様にSteam側で設定すればSteamジャイロは使えます。コントローラーの使い心地は純正xbox xシリーズのコントローラーより個人的にはいいと思います。耐久性が未知数なのでとりあえず星4つです。

Review: Real trash product. LB and RB buttons have just stopped working. They will just blink in red, as you can see in the video attached. It happens in Windows, in Android and even in the Android app, test function. I have reinstalled de firmware several times and even tried to remap these functions to the rear buttons, but the fail then just translates to the rear buttons as well. Money wasted, Gamesir never again…
