Review: The rating is not really about the product. It could be great for all I know. It was advertised on Amazon UK but the device is for US users with US voltage and US plug so a non-starter in the UK.

Review: I’ve used it for spraying a waterproof stain on my deck and it worked great!. I did not have to thin the material as it was already thin so I have no experience with that phase. Guidelines were pretty good as to orifice size and orientation. Well worth the cost.

Review: Excellent sprayer. Remodeling kitchen and taped off other rooms, painted in about 40 minutes total painting time which included ceiling. I watered down paint and primer from sherwin Williams. Coverage was excellent and so easy to use. Clean up was very easy. Highly recommend for any remodel. I think if you need to be careful and are not replacing floors and trim it might not be perfect because you do get overspray. If you tape and use plastic it would work. No regrets and such an easy user friendly fast tool. Well worth the price which is not expensive. No rollers or brushes to wash! Just buy it!

Review: I have a ridged fiber-cement siding, old but previously unpainted, and I have painted a different part of the house with a brush and roller in the past which took forever to get good coverage because of the ridges in the siding.After reading many reviews and websites on these HVLP “tornado” style sprayers, I figured I would try it and hope for the best with exterior house paint.The key thing to do if painting with house paint in this sprayer is to thin it with Floetrol Flood latex paint additive and then use the 3mm nozzle. I was adding Floetrol Flood by eye at a rate of about 16oz of Floetrol per gallon of paint.I used the paint from the Orange DIY store, because their paint said it could be thinned with water (although I did all the thinning with Floetrol Flood). The Blue DIY store’s paint does not say it can be thinned.I did a gallon of exterior primer first, the primer being quite heavy was slow to spray but did pretty well with some patience. Then the paint, which was a dark green exterior paint going over the white primer, got excellent coverage in one coat.I got into a rhythm of doing about a 4-inch wide band at a time. My son was painting with the gun a little further back and about a 6-inch wide band, but I don’t think it was any faster than my way.For us, no orange peel, and just a couple of runs where we put too much paint down.It does use a LOT of paint. We got about 200sqft per gallon of paint when painting with this, but we have good coverage and the time saved was worth it.Note that the hose connector for cleaning it requires a quick connect hose adapter. You WILL want to use it, so make sure you have (or order) a quick connect hose adapter. I used Gardenia brand which worked fine.
