Title: Good solid base
Review: Bought this to replace a plastic base where all the wheels snapped off in the same place. The company where I bought the chair originally went bust, I wonder why? Anyway, this is a million times better, all metal and feels pretty sturdy. The original wheels fit fine and I’ve had no issues so far. It’s easy to put it together and swap it out. It doesn’t come with a gas cylinder – I think I saw a review somewhere that mentioned one. A thumbs up from me.

Title: A little self build but Allen key and screws provided
Review: Base comes as a metal hub with 5 metal legs held on with 2 screws each, Allen key is provided. Just took 5 mins. Very sturdy. Takes all standard fittments. Ie 2 inch diameter cylinder, and 11mm by 22mm push fit fitment on the wheels.

Review: I had a plastic chair base before which had cracked and the gas canister had slipped through and scratched the floor. This metal replacement is excellent. It was so easy to put together but I did need to tighten up the screws a few days later as it was making a funny noise but they’ve stayed tight since.

Title: Solid, square and so ideal for roller blade style wheels
Review: I bought this cause I had already bought roller-blade style wheels for my existing chair only to find that since my plastic chair base did not sit square (that is to say the wheels when I was sitting on the chair sat at an angle and made it harder to move around). This is a solid base, easy to assemble and makes my wheel purchase actually work. Really easy to fit the base… hard part is removing the old one.

Review: I recently got the viral crisscross office chair. That’s been great! I missed the wheels though. I ordered this set to replace the legs mine came with. Please remember to install this set of wheels BEFORE you put your chair together the first time!! Once the piston is in place, it is incredibly hard to change out. Luckily my husband is very handy and was able to do it for me. After I spent way too many hours watching YouTube and TikTok videos to do it myself with no luck. I already had wheels like these so I knew they be perfect for my new chair. Rolling around is so smooth. This set is very easy to put together (as long as you do the steps right for the chair you’re replacing the base on), very solid construction. They’re working well after a month or so. Worth the money I spent on these to create the perfect office chair for myself!

Review: I really love my comfy fabric office chair, so when I sat on it and one of the wheels broke off I was devastated. I was so happy when I saw they had this product on Amazon. It was a bit tough to get the old one off my chair, but with a couple of YouTube videos and a large pipe wrench, it eventually came off. Installing this new one was a breeze and it looks great. The wheels roll nicely on the wood floor and I like the colour better than the original one that came with the chair. Only thing is, I think it’s a bit expensive. My husband just bought a whole new chair for the same price. But replacing my chair would have been a lot more so I’m glad it could be fixed.
