Title: Excellent
Review: Really good multimeter this. It has a voltage pen/tester built into the top for quick scanning of cables etc (see video). Nice compact size for my toolbag. The probes can be clipped into the body of the meter for storage, which I thought was another nice touch. Operates as it should, and with illuminated display if required. Very pleased with it so far.

Title: Several good points about this multimeter
Review: As my title says there are lots of good points about this Avo. First it’s a good size and fits in to your hand easily, it has a strong rubber removable outer case that will give great protection if you drop or nock it. This case has a stand on the back to save you holding on to it all the time. There is also 2 positions for you to keep the leads neat and tidy when it’s not in use. The leads themselves are a good length and seem well made with a very good feel when in your fingers. The insulation on the tips goes almost completely to the end of the probe minimising exposed metal at point of contact. I took the outer case off to fit the battery’s that are supplied with it then realised you don’t need to remove it you can install / change the battery’s with the case on. There are lots of features on this that would take me forever to go through but they are included in the description on the web page where they are for sale. I will however mention a couple that I like. The screen is nice and gives good clear numbers so it’s easy to read while your trying to keep an eye on what your doing. On certain settings that I’ve tried out so far there is a loud and clear sound indicator and a green light that comes on as well helping you to keep your eyes on the job not the meter. There is a torch and a screen backlight both controlled from the same button on the front. Both the torch and backlight can be used at the same time as when you are using the meter for testing. I do have another meter that was serviced and had the calibration checked recently, I have used both meters on the same test’s and they both gave the same readings so I believe this meter to be accurate. All in all a great multimeter at a very very competitive price that I’m happy to recommend.

Title: Works well, but screen cracked
Review: My husband is always fiddling with electronics and computers ,so I thought this multimeter would be a good idea to add to his array of tools.It seemed to be packaged fairly securely, however when I opened the box I noticed something on the screen. At first I thought it was the screen protector, however I soon realised that there was an actual crack in the screen , underneath the protective film. We have since found that this doesn’t not affect the use, however it does feel like it left the factory with that quality control issue.My husband had a look through all of the functions and was impressed with some of the extra functions it offers when you go through the mode button.He felt that the probes were of a reasonable quality, and that having the sleeves on the end helps to avoid shorting across components when testing in tight spaces.It also comes with a temperature probe, but we have yet to be able to test that.He tried it against his original meter and felt that it was calibrated quite well and was easy to use. The backlighted screen and touch functions are also a benefit.He felt it was a helpful piece of equipment, however I had to mark it down due to the damage to the screen.

Title: Surprisingly accurate for the price
Review: I’m amazed that these budget multimeters are so accurate. As I worked in the electronics industry, I had access to the most popular brands of mains and battery digital multimeters. I mostly used Fluke multimeters, these are expensive, but I think this is partly due to certain models being writing into customer test specifications and calibrated, so they have to be available for long periods.I tested this MAYILON HT113C multimeter on a very accurate power supply, and also tested it against a Fluke. The meter will measure AC/DC Voltage, Current, Resistance, Capacitance, Continuity, Frequency, Temperature and also NCV (Non-Contact Voltage). The NCV is great for checking for live mains electricity within a wall or electrical product, and this will also measure the mains Frequency. The meter is also auto ranging, which make its quicker to use.Normally these meters are less accurate at lower Voltages, so I used a powerbank to compare this MAYILON against a Fluke. As you can see from a few pictures I have posted, they were identical to 3 decimal places. I also had an almost identical result for Resistance, in fact most measurements are very good. The Temperature function is a great extra, I tested this against an RS product and they were only a few 10ths of a degree C difference.The screen is large and clear and is backlit, with large easy to read digits. There is a built in flashlight at the top of the rubberised outer housing.The multimeter is powered by 2 AAA batteries, these are supplied. It come with a good set of probes and a wired thermal couple.Overall, this multimeter is all the home diyer would need. It certainly compares well even with meters costings 10X the price.I hope you find my review helpful.

Review: È un bel multimetro con molte funzioni, termometro, sensore di tensione senza contatto, torcia, frequenzimetro, misure di capacità, amperometro, rivelatore di fase (L N).Utilizza 2 batterie ministilo, viene fornito con i puntali AT e sonda di temperatura, istruzioni in italiano.La carrozzeria è di ottima qualità, dotato di supporto retrattile per posizione a 45 gradi sul piano di lavoro e gancio per essere eventualmente appeso.Le dimensioni sono ben azzeccate in quanto lo strumento sta comodamente in mano, ma anche il display è molto chiaro e retroilluminato, i tasti della dimensione giusta a prova di errore.È dichiarato a equipaggiamento con dispositivi di protezione dalle alte tensioni (anti-shoch), ma questo non ho potuto verificarlo.La taratura e precisione delle misure è garantita per 12 mesi e comunque entro un range compreso tra i 18 e 28 gradi e max 80 % di umidità.Strumento ottimo, purtroppo un pò limitato nelle tensioni max (600 Vac – 600 Vcc) e altrettanto limitato nel range di frequenza (10 Hz – 10 Mhz).Le correnti amperometriche (Max 10 A) oltre a una certa soglia si possono misurare solo per tempi molto brevi (Max 15 secondi).Un’altro limite è il refresh di lettura che viene aggiornato circa 3 volte al secondo.Complessivamente lo strumento vale la spesa, perciò è consigliatissimo per elettricisti e tecnici semiprofessionali proprio in virtù dei limiti delle misure.Lo consiglio tranquillamente in quanto pari prestazioni e robustezza costano leggermente di più.
