Title: Professional standard
Review: I am actually a layman. Having said that I feel entirely confident in titling my review “Professional Standard” because these Electrician’s tools from FitEasy are quite bamboozling to someone like me who doesn’t know very much about such things!Also of course and perhaps most importantly, the tool seems made to a high standard and from high-quality materials from a British company. I believe the handles are made from plastic, but good strong plastic at that, and the from there on the “business end” is metal. The unit feels quite lightweight in the hand considering, the long handles do a good job of counterbalancing the metal at the top end. I put the tool on my digital kitchen scale out of curiosity and it weighs 306 grams.Speaking of business end…I had a couple of jobs lined up for them here when they arrived (hence ordering!). One was trimming some curtain wire, which these handled well and efficiently. The other job was slightly more intricate as I needed to strip an ethernet wire first, and then cut down the whole wire to size, then strip the newly cut other end also. As anyone who has had to redo an ethernet wire will know, there’s also a plastic insert inside the wire which needs to be remove before you can rewire your RJ45. This tool, I am happy to say, took care of everything I needed it to.Despite being a layman as confessed earlier, the job at hand for me was reasonably complicated (for someone who had never tackled something like this before) and to find and use a tool that took care of practically everything for me was a welcome breath of fresh air. If only it could wire an RJ45 connector….!I am extremely happy with this item, it has done everything I need it to do. In fact, I’m about to become a bit of a nuisance now and look for jobs around the place where I can re-use this tool! I think layman and professionals alike would enjoy this versatile and efficient British made tool from FitEasy.

Title: Great quality effective wire strippers!
Review: I do a few electrical hobby things myself in my free time, and have never actually owned a wire stripper… That changed with these, and safe to say: I’m impressed! They’re great quality, with a solid build, good quality handle, and a very smooth mechanism. Super easy to use, and works first time, every time from my testing. Price is pretty competitive for good quality wire strippers. Recommended!
