Review: I like this because it works well with thick hair.It is almost odourless â€” the smell is very faint â€” youâ€™ll only notice it if you squeeze a massive amount out of the tube. And even then the scent fades.The gel is thick and provides really good hold.The hold lasts all day for me. There is no flaking.

Review: American Crew have a great range of hair products and men’s products that are consistently high quality, and all have a terrific sophisticated but subtle fresh masculine scent. The American Crew Firm Hold Gel is no different.The gel is easy to apply, only a small amount needed to get a good style and firm hold which lasts all day. Hair looks shiny without looking heavy, greasy or wet. It’s water based so it isnâ€™t sticky to use. I had no issues with washing it out of hair and doesnâ€™t leave any residue or dryness of hair or scalp. Highly recommended.
