Review: Water in this kettle has no contact with plastic whatsoever! And that was exactly what I was looking for. Many kettles are stainless steel but have the plastic window..this one is a very good plastic free one for a reasonable price. Yes, you cannot see from the outside how much water it contains, but you are also not brewing your tea in microplastics (other than those already in water 🙈). It is a bit noisy and not the quickest, however it works perfectly fine and has lovely design!

Review: We had this kettle in green and loved it.(1) it looks classy – the colour is what you would call pistachio green.(2) there is no plastic contact with your water (even with the plastic alternative ring – see below)(3) it lasted a long time (10+ years)(4) it even comes with an alternative plastic ring to replace the metal ring, which does get burning hot right after a boil. It still looks good when the plastic ring but a lot more convenient e.g. I can boil multiple kettles in a row(5) it boils quietly

Title: The jury is still out
Review: Yes, it is noisy compared to other kettles.Yes its true it doesnt reach boiling point before it knocks off.It is easy to fill via the spout rather than pulling the lid off.I never use the water level indicator on kettles so dont miss it on this.That is one reason i bought it as the fill level spoils the appearance in my opinion.I tend to judge how much is in it by weight.What i do love about it is how lovely it looks in my kitchen, it matches all my other appliances perfectly.Looks just as good as my previous kettle that cost £150 and broke after 4 years.I find the plastic ones just look a little cheap so thats why i prefer stainless steel.My dilema is can i cope with all the negatives of it function ability just for the aesthetics?The jury is still out on that one.

Review: where to start. The lid scratches the paint off the rim immediately. The body and lid are completely uninsulated and dangerously hot in use. The handle though a bit cheap looking is functional, as is the little insulated ring on the lid the rest of the stainless steel kettle cannot be even brushes against after it boils without causing at best discomfort. Theres no fill level indicator which is a bit baffling but I assume its ‘aesthetics’ not ideal at all. Lastly the socket on the base is not very easy to locate and leads to it being a bit challenging to put the kettle on the base.Looks nice but its poorly engineered and for the price not worth it.

Review: This kettle is functional & beautiful. I love the little switch that you push down & it lights up. Shuts itself off when done boiling. I’ve taken it camping as well. Unfortunately it rubbed up against something while traveling so it has a big scrape across the front. I love it nonetheless. I use it everyday.

Review: I wrote a review early on but never submitted it. Now that the thing won’t operate, the words below aren’t worth a thing… Basically the connection is probably gunked up with minerals . Worked well for 15 months. I love this kettle. It’s the third one since my old one died a slow death, and 3rd time is the charm.On/Off. Simple. Retro looking in red. Heats well. Pours great. I had tried a white European one that looked great on the counter, but I wasn’t happy with how it sputtered and poured too much too quickly, so I sent it back. It wasn’t a bargain, either. Then I got a beautiful glass model with all the bells and whistles of different temperatures and keep warm settings, but after a few weeks, it died quickly when something fell out of the cabinet above and broke the thing.This one is well priced and heats up about the same as the others. Just beware of the separate lid, the metal handle of which gets burning hot – In most cases, it’s not necessary to touch it anyway unless you are filling up the carafe with cold water. For safety reasons, I guess, a replacement plastic handle is included, but the original is on so tightly that I just left it alone.Very happy with this purchase. I hope it has a long healthy life.UPDATE of course is that its on/off lever died after 15 monthsif daily use.
