Review: Works ok with just light pressure which is all you need anyway.ain problem is the sanding belt it runs on a bed wider than the belt so you can’t sand right upto the edge of the belt. Small footprint so I use it clamped to a workbench. Reversible and variable speed which is very useful. Ok for hobbyist

Title: Mini Belt Sander
Review: This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.I was particularly drawn to it, because I have a child who has recently taken up an interest in crafts that involve using resin, so the polishing features of the device were actually the most appealing (though, I am sure that the sander will come in handy for sharpening my DIY things).In terms of quality, the whole unit has a little weight to it, but is sturdy, and compact, meaning that it would fit on any work bench with ease. All of the movable parts have been properly machined, and there are plenty of high standard accessories included.Generally, I have found it straightforward to set up and start using, with the LED display being especially helpful for checking that I have selected the correct speed for either of the tools.So far, I have been able to smooth out my child’s creations to a finish I am happy with, so, in summary, the sander is a good value item that I personally will continue to use.

Title: A decent compact desktop belt sander
Review: This is an unbranded compact desktop belt sander, that appears to have a fairly decent 350W motor…. (although in the product pictures it’s contradicted as 150W).Main advantage that this sander has is the adjustable speed dial – which allows for better control than the ‘one-speed on’ found on most of the other sanders of this size.The grinding arm can also tilt from anything between 0 and 90 degrees.These are the two main features (plus the 350W motor) that justify a slightly higher price compared to the cheaper alternatives on the market.Overall very pleased. The motor is not overly noisy when spinning, even at high speed – but of course noise level increases when physically sanding.One of the bolts in the grinding arm keeps falling out after a few minutes of use, but easily resolved with a dab of threadlock.The AC adapter has variable voltage settings – ranging from 12v to 24v.The sanding belt has forward and reverse rotation option (chosen via the power switch).Comes with adjustable mini support shelves, varying grit sanding belts (10 in total), a buffing wheel and grinding wheel.
