Title: A good brand drive and has proved extremely reliable with acceptable speed
Review: Crucial is a well respected and established brand. I would always buy an SSD from an established brand rather than a generic device because at the end of the day with data storage I want reliability over and above everything else. This 2TB drive has proved to be exceptionally reliable with acceptable performance. This was purchased for use in a media recorder so speed was not a main consideration. This drive has now been considerably used and is still working perfectly without any issues so it has performed everything I would have expected of it and for that reason I would highly recommend this drive to anyone looking for an entry level drive by a reputable brand.

Title: Great 250GB SSD for caching
Review: Good value SSD for use in caching with Asustor Lockster, main reason I purchased the 250GB version as I wasn’t using this for storage purposes, 250GB way to small nowadays to store files so if your using it for storage I’d recommend minimum 500GB.Purchased 2 of them as I have 2 slots which gives me 232.89GB of cache which is overkill for a home user NAS. See after a raid cache setup a total of 500GB after formatting and activation I’m only getting 232GB so be aware of that!Overall I’m happy with what I need it for and response is fast enough for me!

Title: Initial impressions on Lenovo Legion 5 17in
Review: Background: I have a Legion 5 17in laptop, running i7 10th gen, 16Gb DDR4 RAM, GTX 1660, 512gb NVMe Samsung.Usage: I don’t do games. I teach online… and I bought this so that I could create online materials. I also edit and store photos (for which I have a range of editing software).I installed a second SSD… a 1Tb NVMe on which I store photos, videos, and audio materials for language learning. However, I had almost filled the main 512Gb SSD with apps, etc, and I really needed to upgrade it.I saw the Crucial P2 advertised on Amazon at a cheap price and I snapped it up.I installed it yesterday…. I am not a tech wiz; I’m an English teacher. However, taking the installation slowly and steadily, I was able to complete it without a hitch in 90 minutes (which includes 35/45 mins of cloning via Acronis True Image through the Crucial website.I am happy to report that – so far – on DAY 2 … no problems. A smooth, easy-to-accomplish installation. After installing, I decided to read the customer reviews on Amazon…. and oh! my heart sank. All the top reviews are so negative. (Yes, I should have read them before I purchased… but I didn’t).I am writing this review – which is very positive (so far!) – to redress the balance. If anything changes, I will amend the review. In any event, I’ll try to update the review after a few months usage.

Title: Its cheap, don’t expect the best
Review: I wanted the largest ssd storage at the lowest price, this was it. This will be my boot drive and hold my steam collection, I don’t video edit and updates download automatically so i never wait for them anyway. A lot of reviewers commenting on large transfers slowing down, what do you expect at this price point. Its like buying a transit van and taking it to the drag strip, amazing for storing everything, crap at going fast… Go spend £300 on a 980 pro from Samsung, until direct access storage becomes a thing you can rest easy here as a budget gamer.

Title: 2TB version. Does exactly what It says on the tin
Review: Does exactly as it says on the tin. Excellent value for money and pretty much hits its expected read/write rate on sequential data. Easy fit (as with all m.2) and seems solid enough. May not be as fast as some of the top end drives but its 2/3rds of the price and still way faster than any magnetic drive. No regrets here!

Title: 2TB BEST BUY EVER
Review: This drive, although my first buy of the NVMe ranges is the best I have ever owned. It is astonishingly very fast in all areas of deployment from start up of windows 11 pro in just under 7 seconds to opening demanding applications. To top it all up, I had it for £119 and a £10 discount for buying it via the amazon mobile app, bringing total paid to just £109. You can’t beat that, can you? So far no issues with running it in an Intel i7 10th generation processor configuration with a 16GB memory and I’m loving it!

Title: Crucial hardrive upgrade
Review: This was bought after allowing the crucial website to scan and recommend for me.You could choose various ways to buy it and Amazon seemed a trusty choice for me.It was easy to install though I couldn’t manage to use the suggested free software (can be got from crucial site) to clone my old drive and instead installed a fresh copy of windows 10.My machine seems a bit faster than previously and has a much more useful amount of storage so I am happy .If you are installing inside a laptop, don’t forget to remove the battery.
