Title: Fiddly but this is GOOD
Review: After looking at loads of reviews for different brands of tape, I opted for this one as my intention was to use it to stick copper string lights around a patio door. This tape is THICK and you cut as much as you need for what you’re doing, however, it comes with no instructions, not that you need any, but the adhesion is real. I used this on an exterior wall and on plastic. I cut small strips and placed them on the concrete to run the copper wire fairy lights – but what you need to be aware of is the very thin clear coloured plastic strip that you need to pull off to reveal the adhesion. Keep the plastic sleeve that it comes in, so that you can rest the roll on it, if you put in on the ground, the edges of the roll will pick up debris. Before you pull of the clear plastic, press heavily down and then you need to gently rub your finger over a corner in order to lift and pull back the plastic. Once I had placed the tape and stuck the lights on it, I was so surprised, I had so much lights left that I had to reposition them, so I gently removed them, restarted and the adhesion held. I also used it to stick some ornamental tiles to the walls, but being a bit dubious I put some cushions down in case the tape did not hold – and OMG it held – I actually LOVE this product and will be ordering another one.
