Review: Great teapot, great price. Had all the features I wanted.lovely design easy to clean and perfect size for my gas cooktop. excellent. The lid was missing so I called customer service to send me a lid. They actually sent me a new teapot (lid )and told me I didn’t need to return the other one. Review: I love loose-leaf tea!I ordered this glass teapot because I thought it looked really nice, and I make tea at home, my office, and while camping.History:———My main teapot for the last 15 years has been the Concert Teapot by Adagio Teas, which I first ordered on April 8, 2009. I’d order another, but it’s always out of stock, is expensive at $69, and I’ve had to replace the lid once, and the pot once (pot hit porcelain sink divider when wife washed it once, and lid fell and shattered when a friend poured once). So while I love it, I’m a little paranoid about finally getting another and then it breaking!This teapot:————–I was very pleased to see & feel how thick the glass is on this teapot; it feels sturdy, like I really could put it directly on the stove. But I don’t do that – I use electric water kettles to heat my water. The size of the pot is great, as I like to make a LOT of tea and empty into several 24oz snap-top cups to drink over the course of 1 or 2 days. The pot is rated at 52oz capacity compared to my other one at 37oz, which I’d have to make 2 batches in a row from. I like this one and doing only one batch saves me time for sure! The infuser is large and I’m very pleased to report that even tea with annoyingly small crumbs of leaves are filtered out very well (see my pic holding tea up to the light – hardly any dregs). This filtering aspect beats or matches the best I’ve tried, and that’s maybe 8 or 10 teapots. The spout is refreshingly simple and easy to clean, like the rest of the teapot. The glass is thick, clear, shiny… an impressive sight when you love tea like I do.The price of this teapot is very, very good for how great it is. I mean, wow. As long as I can keep ordering this, I might get rid of all my others and just keep one of these in my camping gear, one at home, and one in my office. Adagio’s Concert Teapot has been great, but I like this one just as much if not better.

Review: Can’t say enough good things about the quality and the craftsmanship. Filter is fine enough that no leaves ever spill over into your drink. Everything is top notch. It also does not hold flavors from previous brews into your current drink. However, the handle gets excessively hot unless you have it on the lowest heat settings. Then the heat becomes tolerable to touch. And unfortunately the base is so wide and the filter is so high from the bottom that you must make an enormous amount of tea to get the water to make contact with the leaves in the filter. Beautiful though!
