Review: This replaced an older set which I misplaced. Steel is chrome vanadium with black across most of the area, little to fault in terms of the metal when shut the jaws are well machined and align perfectly, which ensures a good grip even on small items being held. The handles have a plastic/rubber grip and the set I got was in green.It’s a minor point but I really do prefer the double layered grips on other Kamasa tools I have this has some grip it’s just not as cushioned as other tools I have from the same maker, nor as slip resistant. But acceptable for the cost (these are certainly better than the discount shop offerings) Quite handy to have a pair of these in the tool box, for various jobs as the adjustable (7 settings) opening means with this type of plier, the handles remain the same distance apart at all settings; with the size adjustment making them more versatile than standard pliers.For the price paid very decent, if they had upgraded handles I’d rate them a bit higher.
