Title: You won’t go back to down
Review: This is the second of these silk duvets I have bought. In winter I layer one over the other, each in a separate duvet cover. It makes for the most flexible and sweat free sleeps I have ever had, and is a,os great for cooler summer nights. I also use bamboo bed linen which regulates body temperature. These duvets are so light yet fall around your body really well.Beautifully made and prompt delivery, plus a vac bag for compact storage i Excellent value.

Title: Amazing duvet
Review: Being allergic to dustmites I was in need of a duvet that would help me get a good night sleep, so I decided to try the summer one (4.5 tog). My husband and I fell in love with it streightaway. It’s so comfortable and lovely to sleep in that now we have got the 10.5 tog one too. Together with the 4.5 makes a perfect duvet for winter, light but very warm. No more sneezing and no more noisy duvet with feather poking out. Love, love, love!

Title: Not convinced it’s real silk
Review: It’s ok. It’s comfy, light and warm.Contacted the company about washing as there was a plastic smell. They said it won’t ever need washing. Friends who have spent more on silk duvets day theirs can be washed, but I’m too worried in case it will melt.Also it says you can link two thicknesses together. When I asked how to do that (as both duvets have loops, but no buttons or toggles), they said (and I quote) ‘You can tie them together with string’. Really???

Title: Good quality, great item, not quite as warm as expected
Review: Wanted a ‘natural’ filling and found a wool duvet too stiff. This drapes very well, though it doesn’t create a ‘cloud’ around you like fluffy synthetic duvets. Less sweaty than synthetic duvets though perhaps not quite as good in this respect as wool. It is very lightweight, not at all noisy on moving. Like another reviewer has mentioned, I don’t think it’s quite as warm as 4.5 tog – comparing it to other duvets we have (John Lewis, Lidl and generic!) I would say more 3. It is beautifully finished. It came in a reuseable vacuum bag, and with a separate cotton storage bag. And a free scarf!! Instructions for care are very simple – air it regularly. Not washable – but having done a bit of reading it seems that treatment which makes silk washable also interferes with its ability to maintain a steady temperature; similarly dry cleaning can adversely affect the fibres.I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again, though I would love to find something rated at about 7.5 tog

Title: This should be sold as a 1 TOG at best!
Review: This is NOT a 4.5 TOG quality silk duvet. I returned as luckily I already have a silk duvet on my bed so knew what to expect. Pay #230 more and get a quality item, I replaced with Jasmine Silk Mulberry 4.0 tog and they dont compare at all, there is at least an inch of filling in the replacement. This should be sold as a 1 TOG at best!

Title: Love this duvet
Review: Love this duvet, it has been in use all summer, I never get too hot, keeps body temperature just right for sleeping. Very light too and so easy to handle when putting on a cover. Nice to know that it’s silk- all natural, I hate anything synthetic like polyester etc. Might buy another winter weight one. Highly recommended. Lovely presentation too- vacuum packed inside a cotton canvas bag, a few creases but they soon smoothed out.
