Title: Incredibly strong and versatile
Review: I’ve been using a lot of cable ties in the garden over the last four years. So far they have all been plastic and many of failed. I didn’t know they wouldn’t survive outside. So I bought a pack of these stainless steel ones. Wow they are strong! I wanted to cut one off and couldn’t. I tried everything. The wood it was slotted into broke before the tie. And they are so easy to install. And incredibly they seem no more expensive than the traditional plastic cable ties. So if you need something strong and durable and especially for use outside you need look no further.

Review: Scrivo questa brevissima recensione solo per spiegare come funzionano queste fascette, in quanto il loro funzionamento è diverso da quelle in nylon. Queste ultime hanno, come ben noto, un dente che si blocca nel fermo e che impedisce loro di allentarsi, e che fa il rumore caratteristico quando si stringono.Queste in acciaio, invece, funzionano ad attrito per mezzo di una sferetta (anch’essa in acciaio) che si incunea tra la fascetta e il fermo, per cui stringendole non sentirete nessuno scatto o rumore.La chiusura, tuttavia, risulta abbastanza salda ma tenete conto che, per il modo stesso in cui sono costruite, tendono ad allentarsi leggermente a fine tiraggio.Questo non è tuttavia indice di cattiva qualità ma, appunto, una caratteristica di progettazione.Per avere delle fascette metalliche che non si allentino bisogna ricorrere ad altre tipologie, ad esempio a quelle con la vite che si usano nelle lavatrici.A mio parere, posto di utilizzarle in maniera coerente con la loro progettazione, sono un prodotto da 5 stelle.
