Title: Great for lots of things but not barcodes
Review: This arrived neatly packaged in a retail box and inside you get the Printer, USB-C to USB-A Power Cable, 1 x Roll of Stickers and Instructions. You do need to download the PrintMaster app onto your mobile device to use this. It can be powered either through the power cable or by 4 x AAA batteries – not supplied.There is a on/off button, charging port, label exit slot and the top cover comes off the access the printer label spool. It will take either continuous or cut labels, plain white, coloured or patterned.The app is the key to using this and offers you a wide range of functionality. From prating barcodes and QR codes, to emoji like images, text, frames, logo, pictures etc. You can customise you own design and save it to use later. Import codes from Microsoft Excel or scan them in using your devices camera.Printing is relatively quick and quiet.I did have some issues with this little printer around printing scannable barcodes. The first problem was that the app would allow me to stretch the height of the barcode, but I had real trouble stretching the length to fill the label (you can add text as well). Even when I was able to do this, the label still printed out the code in the original size. The biggest issue was that the barcodes were not scannable. I would scan and scan and scan and on the rare occasion, it would be read. I have a decent scanner and do not have any issues scanning barcodes normally.Pairing it with my Samsung Galaxy mobile phone only took a matter of 2nds and once paired, it paired very quickly again when the app was open, and the printer turned on.Putting the barcode issue aside, this is a compact little printer, and you can do quite a bit with it, but it is not what I would call professional. It is more “arts & crafts” or home use. The real key to using it is finding you way around the app itself and what it can do, something I am still learning about.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Review: Do you make your own preserves/dried meat? Do you make and sell arts and crafts from home or 3D print items like I do? Want to up your game and make your products look a little more professional then this might just be the thing your looking for.Once made/packed you can print a label in a multitude of styles from a simple “made with love” label to one with a part number and encoded QR code (app will encode it for you, for instance you could encode your email address or website address and put it on the label) I made a label to test that had a border a paw print one side words in the middle and QR code the other side and it was able to be scanned. So you can really give that pro touch to your stuffLove to label things and be organised? You can organise yourself silly with this creating labels in seconds and sticking them on everything but the cat! You can even import images and clip art.The actual printer is tiny (well palm sized) and can run in batteries or via a USB led. So it’s completely portable opening up all sorts of options. The stickers are very sticky and have a plastic feel so are quite hard wearingIf your worried about it being thermal and turning completely black when it gets hot like the till roll then worry not. I printed a label and held it over a boiling kettle with no change to the print and then stuck it to the kettle side for the last couple Of days with no change in print.Perfect!Note it is thermal so only prints black and although the app lists all sorts of label size you can’t change the printer to print bigger labels only longer ones

Title: Portable
Review: I always like to label things so I don’t forget and this just comes in handy for those people like me. Even though I tried to use different kinds of labels before I always got stuck either with labels from which information erased easily or with labels it didn’t stick well.Not anymore! This is the perfect solution and solve all my problems. I like to label food containers or toy boxes or even to have labels on wardrobe shelves to say what clothes are where given the fact that I have a baby and a toddler so don’t want to get their clothes mixed up.This label printer works with an app and using the app is really easy and has lots of different things you can add to the label and even pictures. Of course with the pictures they will be just black-and-white and pixelated but still it is a nice thing. It comes with one roll of pre-cut labels.What I like most is that they can be battery operated so it’s fully portable or you can now use it with an USB C cable. Very good for the price and definitely worth it for me

Title: Label stalling won’t print
Review: Only trying product now had it in box for couple weeks, so I can’t return it. Not working at all tried couple of different media inside still same problem. It’s like the motor inside stalling when printing. Cant use it wasted my money

Title: Very handy label printer for many application use
Review: This PokeLabel Q30 label printer is very handy for printing all sorts of labels. The unit is a compact size and takes 4 pcs AAA size batteries (not included) or you can power it up via USB cable. You get a secent size roll of thermal paper sticker labels to start you off. I found it easy to download the thermal printer app. and then to Blue Tooth bind it to my phone.Then the machine when on displays a green light on the side of the unit to show it’s switched on. Following the app. instructions to create my labels was easy to do and I figured it out quite easily.The machine didn’t get hot or noisy and it was compact and a great way for me to label my bottles, folders, vitamin bottles, cables, objects and more.The thermal labels come out looking glossy and professional finish.This product represents good value for money.
