Title: A great challenge…..
Review: A really challenging puzzle! Be aware it is big, very big. We have completed many Colin Thompson puzzles but wanted to try the larger more complex 5000 piece one. It took us about 3 weeks on and off but enjoyed it very much, Ravensburger puzzles are excellent quality and the picture itself is very detailed, with bright and vibrant colours. We bought a piece of plywood cut to size from a local DIY store for about a tenner to complete it on and it was a good decision as we could just take it off our dining room table for meals when required. Only downside is there is no picture/poster inside to help with completing, you have to rely on the box art which is very small in comparison to the actual size of the puzzle so good eyesight is required. Outstanding overall.

Title: Best Jigsaw Yet
Review: My girlfriend loves jigsaws and I got her this one to do last. It’s been her favourite ever, the bright colours and way the picture seems to consist of many different sections makes this puzzle a joy to complete. Add to that the fantastic Ravensburger quality and an useful reference sheet showing the jigsaw.

Review: Just thought I’d post to reassure others that it now comes with a large poster for those of us with dodgy eyesight. It was a lot of money but will keep me quiet for a while.I’ve not started it yet, but it’s a very rainy day so watch this space!

Title: A jigsaw symphony
Review: Until now, I had though that Colin Thompson’s jigsaw “Tree Houses” was about as good as a jigsaw could get, a great picture, the possibility of approaching solving by several different methods, and personal preference for his style. Now, having received this puzzle I see I was wrong. Of course it is a bit large and will demand a fair amount of time, but he has amalgamated visual aspects of some of his other very nice puzzles to make it a richer picture than any of his 1000 piece jigsaws. Add Ravensburger quality and “Tree Houses” fades from my memory. Perhaps it could be Alzheimers, perhaps I have just achieved “living in the moment”, but I think it really is that this is as great as a jigsaw can get.

Review: This was an incredibly fun image to assemble. The quadrants of the picture are varied and laid out well enough that I did not experience false fits from the repeated pattern cut. Prior to doing this puzzle I did not know Colin Thompson was a children’s author/illustrator; many of the components of the artwork come from his books. There is so much detail overall you probably need to put it together multiple times to see everything (I like to do puzzles more than once – only on very rare occasions will I frame one.) Puns are my jam, so be sure to check out the book titles when you put it together!

Review: Il est relativement facile à faire, comme tous les Colin Thompson, il faut juste de la place, des plateaux et des boites pour trier… une dizaine de soirées jusque tard dans la nuit (je suis assez rapide)… hyper addictif, vraiment chouette ! Seul bémol, deux pièces abimées dans le lot dès l’ouverture, dont une quasiment cassée.

Review: This puzzle took my 13 yr old daughter and I about 3 weeks to finish (working on it in the evenings mostly). The picture is interesting and fun to look at and there are loads of little hidden details that you can’t see on the box cover! We normally do 1000 pc puzzles with ease, so this one was a challenge. We had to make a plywood table top to fit it over our spare table because it’s so big – but on the plus side, we never got in each other’s ways while building it! Great quality puzzle as expected from Ravensburger!
