(as of Sep 28,2024 10:28:21 UTC – Fibaro Wall Plug, with power metering feature, is an intelligent, ultimate plug & play, most sophisticated, extremely compact, remotely controlled outlet adapter. This highly functional wall plug can be applied wherever there’s a need to control electrical devices of maximum 2.5 kW power output, while monitoring power consumption in a convenient and maintenance-free way. Crystal LED ring informs about the current load of the connected appliance by visually changing its colour.
WIRELESS CONTROL: Add this plug to your Z-Wave hub (sold separately) and control any device up to 15A remotely – this is the smallest Z-Wave plug to handle fans and heavy duty appliances (as long as they don’t run on 220 VAC).
BUILT-IN POWER METER: Monitors energy use and reports W and kWh back to the hub. The smart LED ring also changes colors depending on current power draw for instant alerts.
AND MORE: Works as a Z-Wave Plus signal repeater in your mesh network. Equipped with the latest S2 security and AES-128 encryption. Remembers and restores on/off state after power failure.
COMPATIBLE: This plug will work with any Z-Wave certified hub (including SmartThings, Home Center Lite, and Vera) but some of them (like Wink and alarm panels) will not display power use or advanced settings.
YOU’RE COVERED: This is a Z-Wave Plus certified and UL listed device created and built in Europe from quality materials. Support portal and documentation are available on the Fibaro website so if you ever need help, just ask

Title: Works an intended
Review: Not sure why the low rating on this item. Works perfectly fine as intended. You need a compatible Z-Wave Hub to use this plug. It has power meter reporting capabilities and an LED ring which you can disable if needed.

Title: 1 Good, 1 Bad but works well
Review: I had a rollercoaster of an order probably for the first time.Ordered 2 of these (along with 2 other Fibaro products), and the courier lost themThe replacement order arrived however both were somewhat damaged in terms of the Fibaro boxes the plugs were in.And both were faulty on arrival with a blue flashing light.I managed to get one working by performing multiple resets on the plug and eventually it went into pairing mode but the other one refused so this went back.So now onto the plugs – It’s the first 3 pin UK plug from Fibaro and its great (when it works). In comparison to Aeotec, I think this is slightly more bulkier but the good thing is the switch is accessible unlike the Aeotec which is hidden under plug plugged into it.Once in inclusion mode, I had no issues adding to the z-wave network. The first couple of times of switching on/off via the portal there was a delay but after this, it has worked every single time.Monitoring works fine too in regards to KW but i’ve had fairly low powered devices connected to it.all in all, if it was not for the lost items and then faulty item, it would not have left such a sour taste and I would be more excited about it.
